Today we're looking at LUOGFYNI's Japanese Windmill Music Box Model Block Set.- Build: This product is well-made. The material used is hard, durable plastic that is akin to Legos. Our inspection did not identify any manufacturer defect with our test product, nor did we find any notable design flaw. We assess that this product will last indefinitely if treated with proper care.- Price: At the time of writing, this product is priced lower than similar products on the market. The building block scale model niche is highly saturated, and we observed comparable products generally coming it at higher price points. Moreover, this product differentiates itself with a level of detail that surpasses most competitors, an extremely compact configuration, a challenging (and fun) construction process, and numerous components. Additionally, our tested product sits on a music box as its base, which we found especially unique. For this reason, we consider this product to be an outstanding value. Top marks.- Function: This product works as intended. All pieces snap together without issue. We do note that the pieces are extremely small, and if you don't snap a small piece on properly, it may end up popping off and flying through the air. The smallness of the components makes it easy to lose them, making completion impossible. The finished product is very impressive, and looks great anywhere be it in a home office or in your child's bedroom.- Aesthetics: We really like the finished product. The high level of detail, the compact shape, and the fact that it plays music from its music box base makes it a conversation starter. Top marks.Bottom line: This is a great building block model set. It looks amazing and is priced low relative to competitors. Fun and builds just like a Lego set, but be warned the pieces are much smaller than what you'd expect from Lego. The build process though is just as fun and the fit/finish on the pieces are mostly good. We had maybe 3-4 pieces that fit maybe a bit too tightly but they did snap on in the end. The instructions are clear and this made for a fun 1-2 hour build for 2 younger people (teens). The finished piece is really cool and definitely stands out on the shelf since it has a unique comic/anime/Japanese aesthetic that sets it apart from many other environment or city sets. Highly recommended!

Haven't put this all together just yet so dont have a pic to include, but looks like a fun project, and would make a very cute gift. Pieces are much smaller then lego's so not compatible at all, but I wouldn't want to mix them up anyway. Will most likely put it together and set it up for display, and have one or two of the grandkids help me as a fun project. Love that it has a music box, unlike the others in the set. Has a nice little melody, although not anything I can depict well enough to name. These are really fun sets, so may have to get the others as well once I get this one put together.

I absolutely love this and everything about the experience of building it! Though I cant say it was all ups since these are tiny building blocks that some times are a bit more fidgety than any lego. Yet dispite that they introduce some fun building styles I would not have thought about in the completed set.This comes in a super nice shiny box, which took my mind away from this being a totally cheap and rip off product. Though this is also where one of the big down falls to the product happens... the packaging of the pieces. Granted they are semi organized in the big pile of bags inside, I found they did not really line up supe well the instructions. So I just poured them out into one giant pile like some kind of mad man.This actually worked out pretty well for the most part and everything is unique enough that I did not have too much trouble actually hunting the small pieces down in the pile. I will say I love the metallic pieces this uses for bottle caps, tools, and other metal objects that you would find in this shop. Though, I did go a little crazy since I used the dark brown pieces when I needed to use the dark pieces. Not sure if that was lighting or the instruction, but the colors seemed a hair off. I was worried about putting the stickers on the pieces, but that turned out to be a piece of cake with my hands, since I could basically make a box and drop the sticker in it without any issues. Note this set does come with a spare of most of the stickers so if you mess up the first time no big sweat! Also not they do tend to cover multiple pieces so taking this fully apart would be hard.I am not one to worry so much about the small stuff, this is something you buy for the experience of building it and enjoying the finished product. I am no means an expert at building lego style sets at this point due to cost, but I will say this took me around 2 hours to complete which I loved. I really enjoy something that takes a bit of time to complete so I can really enjoy the finished product. This has does have cool features, like a little mini stove with pull out drawer, miso in the soup bowls that is not snapped down, and few other fun little things like this. I was super happy with the end product and how it ended up looking. This is 100% what I wanted and it looks great on my shelf of other Japanese themed things.I really apricate the quality and thought that was put into this product.
