Quality Importers Hygroset II Round Digital Hygrometer for Humidors

Very impressed with how accurate this hygrometer came straight out of the box.. After testing the accuracy I found the humidity to be just under by 1%. I see others have had problems adjusting the reading whilst calibration, I myself had no problems, but I can say that the dial to adjust the calibration is very sensitive, you need to move it very softly in order to feel the click, every click = 1%. I would highly recommend this hygrometer to anyone

Excellent digital cigar hygrometer that is also easily calibrated!Before trying to calibrate do read the manual as there are 3 specific steps that need to follow to successfully calibrate it.It took me 1 minute to fully calibrate it following these steps.A must have for a cigar lover.

Hard to get an exact hydro reading, even after calibration and adjust its off by +\- 5-7% compared to the more expensive version I use

Great does what it said on the tin

I bought this for my Boveda acrylic humidor, I used one of the Boveda Calibration Kits to test the hydrometer, it was reading 70% inside the 75% calibration kit. The turn dial to adjust the calibration is terrible and impossible to adjust accurately, its supposed to adjust 1% up or down with each notch, but it would jump between 3%-5% difference. I eventually get it to read 75% in the bag, put it in my humidor with a Boveda 69% pack and it would read 71%.I decided it eas too inaccurate, I then bought the Caliber 4 digital hygrometer, tested that and it read a perfect 75% in the calibration kit straight away, and is reading 69% in my humidor with a Boveda 69% pack in it. I'd advise against this hydroset hydrometer if you'd like an actual accurate reading.

...the calibration process is very hit & miss

I bought two of these devices, and neither will calibrate properly. You are supposed to move the dial one click for every % you want to adjust, but one frequently jumps from 59% humidity to 77% humidity with only one click! It never settles anywhere between 59% and 73%, it always jumps from one to the other.The second device is not as bad. It can be somewhat adjusted, just not by the amount that it needs to be. In either case, I would return both of these items if I had the option to.
