Great instructional book. This has helped me start a new hobby! I always wanted to carve wood and this book has helped me to understand how to do it. It even includes patterns you can use to begin your woodworking journey! Love it!

I have a very interested 9 year old which has been learning a lot from this book to get started, but also has plenty of much more complicated things to learn as he develops his skills. A great place to start!

Definitely a beginners book. The pictures do not use safety gloves so I don’t recommend it as an example for you f people to learn.

The book is bigger than I thought it would be It actually shows and tells you in full detail on how to make things and which tools to use

My kids are jack-of-all-trades and got interested in carving recently. I gave this book along with a few others, a carving set, sanding set, and gloves to get them started. They have been doing small whittling carvings so far and are working their way up as they get more skills. Can't wait to see what they are creating next year.
