CSI: The Finale [DVD]

CSI the finale - as we say farewell to this much loved show, cast and crew.Delivered quick, only a couple of days.I added this to finish my collection of probably one, if not the best crime drama show that ever donned our tv screens, gracing us with "who dunnits" and mediocre speedy science - this show single handedly got people into forensics and criminology. Way to go CSI!!This disc is a basically a tie in, tie up the show in a nice little neat package, a feature length episode, there is one member missing (sad face).This episode itself wasn't as gritty, meaty or indulging as their other episodes, like I say its more for the ending of riding out into the sunset, hand in hand.I won't ruin it like others do, bloomin spoilers people, like that time people ruined titanic for me, by telling me it hits an iceberg and sinks... like for real whhyyyyy! :)This is a great watch, with a nice and fitting way to send the show off. I certainly don't begrudge the finale having a whole disc to itself !!!

A bit mushy and sentimental. If you've got the final series box set, this won't add anything to it. The story isn't bad, it just lost it's way, for me. They forgot about the crime in amongst all the nostalgia and getting the old crew back together one last time. I'd leave it at Nick's departure, although that last episode clearly was made with another series in mind.

Great series but when received in UK, found it was region 1, not region 2. No warning from seller. Luckily we have a multi-region player but others may not be so lucky.

I could not not buy this after watching every single episode over the years. The DVD is exactly as per any other DVD, poor ending but you cant blame anyone but the producer, director and writers,

The episode is great for the long time fans as it's full of nostalgia. Seems silly to have the finale on its own but at least they don't charge for a full series

like they ran out of ideas and just wrote something quick to finish "us" off ...nothing as inventive as earlier episodes in order to hold our attention and lacking in a twist in solving the clues leading to an exciting climatic ending ....feel let down .

doesn't say so in the description but is region encoded, I couldn't watch. this is important information that should be listed.

Such a shame its the end. George (STokes) should have been allowed to say good bye. The story line was in San Diego so why no Stokes. Extremely disappointing.
