DOODLE HOG Set of 8 Art Trays for Kids, Great for Crafts, Painting, Sand

I like the slight rim. 1 and 1/4 inch. Enough to hold beads and other other small items that would otherwise roll across the table or blur into the work area of another child. Defines a work space. Spills are contained. Paint or water. Good for work station trays. Easy for small hands to carry. Good as a snack tray especially when transitioning from a sippy cup to an open cup. In the spring seed planting won’t be so messy. Shaving cream play can be contained in the space of the tray. (You don’t know about shaving cream play?). Play dough crumbs are contained. I will pour different paint colors into the tray and let the children just mix and stir with brushes or cotton swabs or their hands. If you purchase enough of them they are a teaching tool in themselves. Color recognition. Rectangles. Perfect. You’ll get good use from them.

The trays are bright colors that are really appealing kids of all ages. They are made of a tough hard plastic, that is also very easy to clean. The storage area inside the tray is about an inch longer and wider than a sheet of copy paper and about one inch deep. It is the perfect size for all kinds of situations. Painting projects, Lego building and other often messy learning activities are a cinch to clean up using these trays and great for organizing too. Now that we have the Doodle Hog activity trays I can prep all of my son's themed activities and sit each tray inside his learning activity drawer. This is PERFECT. I can color code each activity! Just this past week the teal tray was for a Lego project connected to counting by 2s. We used the orange tray for a cut, and paste train activity and the yellow for leveled readers assigned for the week.

We use these every single day! Food, coloring, play doh, you name it! I throw them in the dishwasher after.

I actually bought these trays four years ago. I bought them to use in the car, as during the pandemic most fast food places had no inside dining. So, we would buy our food in the drive through and then park and eat. We used these trays to keep the food on in the car and it worked out great. We still do this today and will eat at a local park with these trays also. I have two in the car and two in the house. I use these trays for so many things from sorting things, carrying things, eating off of, to doing puzzles and crafts. When we eat outside in the yard I pile what we need on these trays and bring it all out. My grandson lives upstairs and we are always using these trays to do Legos or while playing with other toys, games or puzzles. I am so glad I bought them and definitely recommend them as I have used them very often and they are still as good as new four years later!

As part of my homeschool organization setup, I purchased these to help separate and organize the daily activities of my student. Here's a summary of Pros and Cons. Pros Easy to clean Different colors Deep Fit perfectly in my organizer drawers Cons Partially fits an 8.5 x 11 In detail, the rounded corners are great for cleaning as you won't get debris stuck in there. I like how each tray in the set is a different color so I can identify the trays by color to my student.They are a nice depth so that crayons and small pieces don't fall. The tray would have to flip over in order for that to happen or someone would have to outright toss the items in the air. I also purchased a 15 drawer rolling organizer and the trays are are perfect dimensions to fit in there. They hold an 8.5 x 11 paper but the corners of the paper don't lay flat. NOTE: The set I originally received contained 2 trays of the same color, purple was missing. I contacted the company via Facebook Messenger and they told me. "In about 2 weeks we can send you a purple. Sorry about that.Our inventory was mislabeled." So the customer service is pretty good too.

These are great quality and size. I have used them for kids to paint in, small/individual sensory trays, cookie/cupcake decorating for kids, jewelry making, and more. They are nice to have a confined work space, and they're easy to clean. I would recommend and would repurchase.

Fits a regular size printer paper. I was on the fence about purchasing this because I could just use a cardboard box or newspaper. I’m glad I bought it. I feel like it made my job easier. Paint & clay washed off easily. Kids like using them. Paper stays in place during painting. I don’t have to tape paper to the table anymore. Easy to let artwork dry by stacking them (like in the picture). It’s also good for sorting craft items. Ex: If I want each kid to have 3 puffs and 2 eyes I can sort them ahead of time so it limits the arguments over material.

Got these for LEGOs so we could save beloved creations and attempt to contain the mess. They work great! I also used them for kinetic sand and the worked well, in part because the lip of the tray is so high. That high lip is great for containing messes, but makes it so it doesn’t work for my kids for painting, since they can’t lay their hand down for watercolors. I hate mess and these are great! If I had them when the kids were younger? I might have used them to serve snacks or even finger paint! They’re easy to wipe down and stack away conveniently, and something about the kids getting to choose which color is theirs for a particular project really makes them happy. A win for the kids and for me!

Perfect size. Fits an A4 page easily to keep glitter and glue off the work surface. Feels like the trays will last well.
