I have only had my shaver for about a month, but it works great. Best one I ever had. I haven't had to use one of my replacement heads, for obvious reasons. I bought them becasue by the time I need them, the price will have increased. I'm good to go for a couple of years. I highly recommnd this.

These give you that fresh shape, so I had took a while to under what both blades do. The secondary blade on the back is more for if you're wolfed out. The main blades are more for if your trying to get rid of those newly grown hairs to help keep the fresh shaved look. I don't need anything like shaving cream when using this product and always get that smooth feel like a metallic surface on a winter day. They're easy to use and easy to clean. You can used these at least three to four times on one battery life before needing to recharge. The functionality is effective and your shave time last a long time just be careful they do tend to heat up fast. But that shouldn't be a issue if your cut quick turn them off when examining yourself and on when needed. These have been helpful for someone like myself since I've only ever used are electric shavers and would recommend

Outstanding

The electric razor my wife bought me for Christmas finally died after 5 or so years. It worked great so I decided to get a new one and bought this one. It is a total and complete dud! Not only did it not cut the hair on my beard, it barely trimmed anything off. I don't grow much facial hair, but it is coarse and curls (a black man's hair). After more than 15 passes over the same area I finally started to see some of the hair removed. It took me well over 15 minutes to get most of the hair from my beard removed. I tried the sideburn trimmers, and they worked a little but definitely not a clean cut at all. The shave is not smooth or close at all, I can still feel a lot of stubble and hairs that were partially cut can still be seen all over. The shape of the razor is awkward and doesn't fit well in my hands which causes me to have to hold it at funny angles, basically using my fingertips to reach certain spots on my face and chin. To be honest, it was a tremendous waste of money! I have an $8 ladies' battery operated shaver (I use it for the private area) that works better and shaves closer than this. I wish I could return this garbage, but I can't so I'm out over $60. I think I'll buy another electric razor like my wife bought me. The only thing about this whole debacle that even remotely makes me smile is that I did all this research on electric razors before I bought this piece of garbage and found out that my wife only got me the razor that she did because it was a Star Wars Stormtrooper Edition (I love Star Wars).

Years ago I had another brand shaver I really liked, but when it finally came time to replace it, I found the quality of the same brand had drastically declined, in my opinion. My search for a new shaver took be to Braun, which I am happy to say has been a great replacement. One thing I have noticed is the shaver heads seem to last pretty long with these Braun units, and while I have not had to replace the heads frequently, when I do, these work great. With that in mind, they are a good buy for the money, and won't break the bank to have a spare head or two on hand for when needed. These are my "go to" when I need more. What else can I say.
