It looks like a decent product. Parts are well made. Only thing is you get in a box with no directions or anything else with it. If you have some mechanical ability you can pretty much figure it out. But if you don't you're Clueless on how to do the installation or what brackets fit where. I had to go on YouTube and look up other brands to see how that they put theirs together. There is one part that is in the kit for the "cable clip", I Have no idea how or where this goes on. I've looked at other kits it does not have it in there. We will see how long this product lasts. And will update on how it holds up.

They are easy to install and exactly as described.

Strut design is poor only lasted week

Works perfect on our 2008 Avalanche!! 🛻 Wish I had this when it was "new" 15yrs ago⏳️. No more slamming tailgate👏 👏. The ladies 👱‍♀️👱🏼‍♀️👩‍🦰👩love ❤️ it when I lower my tailgate so they can sit on it!! 😉

Nice addition to truck for ease of use opening and closing tailgate. Tools & Instructions as shown in listing were not included, so if hubby had not already had tools to install and figured out configuration, it might not have worked well.
