🚀 Mini PC, Mega Performance!
The Bqeel Intel Mini PC is powered by an Intel Apollo Lake N3450 processor, featuring 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, with dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. Its compact design and multiple ports make it an ideal choice for both home and office use, while the VESA bracket allows for easy mounting and space-saving.

Fantastic device for a MAME arcade project.
As my feedback mentioned, I was looking to get a Pandora's Box 4 or a Game Elf JAMMA box to build a standalone 'arcade' unit (minus the heavy cabinet). These JAMMA boxes use emulation under the hood (FinalBurn, I believe, which is similar to MAME). The problem with these boxes is that they are a closed ECO system - they do not receive updates or bug fixes - and the sound is a mixed bag. Sometimes good but often poor. Also, the game selection is fixed (although I've heard it's possible to hack some of them although quite tricky). Then, the realisation that these were simply a little PC (ARM-powered) lead me to investigate Windows Mini-PC's - of which this is one. Many of the issues go away with these as they are Windows-powered and MAME can simply be dropped on it (I added a 128Gb card as not enough space on board). You can choose your own games and not limited by someone else's selection. I already had a 17" Dell 4/3 Monitor (that rotates!) and a mini wireless keyboard. In addition, I'd also already got a USB arcade joystick. All I needed to add was a Wireless speaker and mouse. In all honesty, I wasn't expecting a great deal from this unit but was genuinely shocked at how good it was. Clearly, it was never going to play Prop Cycle or Gradius 4 at 60fps (unlike my i7 desktop which handles them easily). However, it plays a whole bunch of quite demanding games at 60fps such as Vimina and Don Do Pachi. Simpler games such as Galaxian, Gaplus and Circus Charlie are a breeze.Overall, I'm extremely happy with this unit which was really a proof-of-concept. Later, I may get a more powerful unit but for now this exceeds my expectations. This unit comes complete with memory and Window's pre installed saving a lot of money. I simply added a 128Gb card which I already had to put MAME on it. I'd recommend getting something like this unit over a bare-bones as the extra cost of windows/memory/hard drive ramps up the cost significantly unless you really need that flexibility. Also, unlike Pandora's box and others like it (God Of Game 900, for example), you are not restricted to just arcade games as you could easily add support for other systems without problem such as Atari 8-bit.So why get this if I have an I7 anyway? Basically, sitting at your PC with a gamepad doesn't give the same experience. You need to stand up - so I have this on a chest of drawers and is totally self-contained. For some strange reason, as an experience, it works really well so I leave my main PC just to do 'normal' duties. If I was to ever obtain an arcade cabinet, I could simply put these inside and have much the same effect as playing the original (it's still more fun playing the actual PCB but most of us will never be able to obtain our favourites, sadly, so MAME is pretty much the only route for the vast majority of us).Naturally, you don't get a pretty menu as on Pandora's Box but that is a small price to pay, in my view. The unit boots fairly quickly although MAME takes about 30 seconds.I added these extra items: Wireless Mouse, VicTsing 2.4G Slim Noiseless USB Laptop PC Computer Cordless Mouse with Nano Receiver with Extra Long Range for Windows Mac Linux Vista Macbook, Super Energy Saving, Black Anker SoundCore Portable Bluetooth 4.0 Stereo Speaker with 24-Hour Playtime, 6W Dual-Driver, Low Harmonic Distortion, Patented Bass Port and Built-in Microphone for Calls for iPhone, iPod, iPad, Samsung, LG and others Lioncast Arcade Fighting Stick for PC, Sony PlayStation PS3, PS2 Controller Joystick So, I really love this unit! It's inexpensive, fully loaded and plays the bulk of my MAME games wonderfully.Overall, this items is highly recommended.Any questions, feel free to ask.

Excellent Mini-PC, fast start up, good for basic Browsing, Office Suite, Photo editing
Still a bit stunned that it's got to the point where PCs have got this small for this price! But this is doing everything I wanted, a basic quick PC for browsing, emails and basic spreadsheet and Word documents for household admin. I still have my workstation for running video editing software and gaming, but this unit is now in the lounge for when I need to do things in the evening and don't want to feel like I'm still at work!Very impressed that it has a old VGA socket in the side, as well as the usual HDMI that most units would only have nowadays. I'm using an old early VGA monitor with this, which came out before HDMI was invented. This mini-PC has a SSD main storage drive (with a usable storage space of 57GB), and it takes just 40 seconds from power-on to boot and finish loading in my security package (I've downloaded Avast for this) and being ready to go. Completely silent of course, being a solid-state drive with no moving mechanical parts. For the sake of doing a proper review, I downloaded the PC PassMark Software benchmarking program and ran their full test on it (see photos). As expected, it's not a high performance 3D gaming machine! Whilst it has a fast processor, modern 3D games require dedicated graphics cards that run so hot, the cooling fans needed are about the size of this entire PC. So, it's not the machine lacks power, it is just that fitting it in such a small box means you are not going to get desktop performance out of it - it can't allow itself to run as fast without cooling fans, big heat sinks, etc. But, I am finding it is plenty fast enough with good memory management for browsing, photo editing, 2D graphics programs, emails, Youtube, and an Office suite.Very pleased with it.However, there is a slightly annoying issue with mine in that I have to turn it off/on at the mains before it will power itself up again? (I've asked the seller about this and will update this review with the details.)

I don't recommend this computer for use with Linux.
The product description says it is compatible with both Windows 10 and Linux. It is not. I installed Linux Mint (Cinnamon) 18.3 and the audio does not work, no audio device is available. The SD card slot does not work, so it is necessary to use a USB SD card adaptor. The inbuilt WiFi does not work at all; it cannot see any of the available WiFi network connections, so it is necessary to use a USB WiFi dongle to access the internet. As there is only one USB 3 port this means it is also necessary to buy a USB hub to provide more ports. The computer is also very slow, lacking processing power. So far I'd rate this computer as a complete waste of money for anyone wanting to use it for Linux. It may be possible to rectify some of the compatibility issues but will likely require many hours of research and messing around with the computer. I wish I'd bought one of the more expensive eggsnow computers as I know they work great with Linux and have no compatibility issues.
