The reviews are fantastic, but I dont understand how this is any different to a normal towel?

Hi Thank you for your question. This towel is specifically designed so you wear the towel like an apron, this means that both your hands are free to Bath your baby and take the out of the bath safely using both your hands, so you are not trying to handle a wet slippery baby whilst holding the towel which can be difficult. In addition it keeps you dry too whilst your baby is splashing around in the bath and when you Cuddle them dry afterwards. It has 56% bamboo fibre in it too, which makes it extra soft against a newborns sensisirive skin and it stays soft after washing. can you tumble dry it?

I think that I did and it was fine. Drying it on a radiator would make it feel all hard and rough! If in doubt, dry it on a cool temperature setting. It's been years since we used this as my kids are all grown up but we loved it.

Is there any reason this costs nearly £40?? What's the difference between this and a £9 bath towel with a neck strap? I could make this for £10!

To be honest there is no difference so if you can make it yourself do it. Great idea that was on the dragons nest many moons ago
