I don't know why I ever tried aligning a clutch without a tool before but I'd used all sorts of questionable methods. Similar sized socket, tape on an extension etc etc. I did borrow an alignment tool once in a red plastic case and a bit different to this but it wasn't anywhere near as good. This one worked a treat, so simple and you can pick up the clutch once it's fitted and held together by the tool. It aligned perfectly and if you've ever been in the situation where the clutch isn't aligned properly and you can't get the gearbox to fit after struggling to get it in place you'll know the frustration. Just spend a little and get one of these, absolutely essential tool if you're doing a clutch.

Brought this to fit a new clutch to my car while fitting a new engine. I've never changed a clutch before (let alone an engine). It took me around 10 minutes of playing around to figure out how to use the tool correctly but after that it was smooth sailing and didn't give me any issues while installing the clutch. I don't think I would recommend this if you are planning on doing lots of clutches as it is plastic but if you need to do a clutch once this tool will get it done without issue.

Bought this to fit a clutch on my 1996 Seat Ibiza Gti as I could get it delivered next day. Well packaged and good quality. Takes alittle bit of a ‘knack’ to use it correctly but I just practiced on the old clutch. For the price I can’t complain. It did what I needed and allowed me to complete the job.

My first time using this type of style cone clutch aligning tool, all my previous vehicles have had pilot bearings in the crankshaft. Simple to use works well, no problems, another must have tool for the bottom draw of the tool chest...

product worked well its easy to use just check before you install the clutch as if you knock the assembly it could move ( not a lot of room when working without a ramp ) for the price it takes a lot of faffing around out of the process & G/Box went in easy , don't know how long this would last in every day use but plenty good enough for occasional use .

I saw this tool on a video once. Never thought I would need it. But now that I have it, i will never be without it. Its is SO simple to use and makes the clutch install simple and you never have to worry about the clutch disk being misaligned. Well worth the €15 and it pays for itself in one install. I have used it multiple times now and its one of the best tools I own.
