First off, let me say that I think this is an amazing little rug. I got the 4 x 6 version, and it fits wonderfully between our couch and coffee table. Well, I wouldn’t call it necessarily fluffy, it is incredibly soft.Upon first inspection of this rug, I was a little skeptical as it’s fairly thin and lightweight. It has a durable backing, which offers scratch and wear protection, but I think you’ll still need a rubberized floor mat to keep it from walking on you. Because of the light weight and the mildly slippery backing, it’s going to have a hard time staying put.The construction of the rug seems to be a quality. The edges are glued and stitched in a way that I don’t see any defects and I believe it will hold for years to come. As for the top, it is incredibly soft and feels wonderful on the feet. The design is sharp and offers a nice aesthetic to the room.Pros: this is a wonderful addition that brings a lot of life to a bare floor. The quality is very nice, however, I feel the price point is a little bit high for how thin and lightweight the material is.Cons: while I love this rug, I would like to see it a little bit heavier duty, or at least have a grippier backing sewn in.Final Thoughts: I am glad that we were able to get this, I think it’s a wonderful addition to our room.

My email told me that this rug had been delivered, so I went out front looking for the customary roll of carpet! Nope - just an ordinary midsize Amazon box. Could there be a mistake?Well, inside the box, tightly wrapped in plastic, was something squishy but with a familiar pattern. Sure enough, it was my rug, simply folded and shrink-wrapped instead of rolled.Who ever heard of shrink-wrapping a rug? But with this one, it makes sense, because as soon as I freed it from its plastic bonds, it immediately expanded into just about the softest rug short of a shag that I've ever seen.It is designed more like a standard bathroom rug, with plastic grippy-texture on the bottom and a sewn border. But, unlike most bathroom rugs, the rug-side is more like a plush blanket or posh bathrobe.If your bedroom floor is hard-surfaced, as mine is, this is absolutely perfect! It will keep your bare feet warm and cozy, and you don't need to worry about it skittering around all over the floor.Also, it's a fairly dark pattern, so won't show dirt readily. Time will tell how it resists use, but for now at least, it's just what we needed. For the price, it can't be beat.
