I have often wished that I had a tool that would allow me to engrave identifying marks on many things. This little engraving tool fills the bill. I was once a skilled calligrapher and I am hoping that, with practice, this engraving pen will enable me to do some fancier work. For now it is enough for me to find out that it is easier than I thought to make my mark on things I don't want to lose. There's such a wide variety of tips included that so far I have only been able to use enough of them to understand that the tip is more important to the result than the tool itself which feels like a real pen as I work. I am enjoying the trial and error it takes to learn which tips give the best result on different materials. The simple push in, pull out chuck makes changing tips a breeze. I love it.

Works great for cleaning up model kit plastic parts after I remove them from the holding grid. It comes with plenty of drill bits and a USB C charging cable. While using it to smooth knicks on the edges of a metal knife handle the bit holder in the pen spun loose on me. (so I only gave it 4 stars) I may have been pushing it past what a delicate engraving pen should be used for; it was easy to fix with super glue in the right place & still works great.

This was a great addition to my carving tools, sturdy and easy to handle and the accessories will prove quite useful! Even my kids can use with supervision as it’s not heavy .

So the only experience I've had with an engraver was with a commercial grade tool that could basically cut deep grooves in steel in a single pass. This doesn't come close to that. That said, this is a wireless hobby engraver that comes with a ton of accessories for around $25. If you're thinking your going to be able to carve holes into 1/8" steel you're going to be disappointed. If you're expectations are realistic and you want a fun little set that will allow you to etch patterns, letters etc for a decorative touch than you'll probably like this product.When used on hard steel it's capabilities appear limited to what resembles water marking. Still very cool, but might not be what some are looking for. If your looking to engrave softer materials like plastic or wood this guy does a very good job.Definitely a great addition for the artist or crafter.

The little guy works pretty good for engraving on various materials, but lacks power for drilling (using the two bits provided). Biggest complaint is that the battery only seems to last about 15 minutes from full charge. I figured it would be at least double that. If you are not planning to use this guy for long periods of time and only planning to use it for engraving - this will be a good unit for you.

I'm having way too much fun with this engraver! If you want to decorate/personalize your stuff, this is a great tool to have. Its diamond tipped tools, of which there are twenty-nine different shapes and sizes, can etch most metals, glass, and ceramic objects. Using stencils definitely helps keep the tips where you want them to be. It comes with four different stencils but I wish the two were more generic shapes rather than Christmas-oriented. Great tool for marking items for identification (like water bottles and laptops). Easy to use and comfortable to hold. Looking forward to finding more uses in my crafting too!

It didn't last long charged an hour and gone in 15 minutes. High speed bogged out to much. Going all electric if I get another.
