haven't used this yet but look forward to doing so.

The iron arrived on time as promised and performed remarkably well. The diamond shaped tip was able to reach the corners of the box and provide a waterproof solder joint. While on the jobsite, the iron had no problem keeping up with production and finishing ahead of schedule. America Beauty has manufactured a great tool.

For the money, Lots of items are less. Not to mention the fact they need to be maintained and serviced. For a home user get something else for a shop, get this and plan on paying 65% of the cost to service/maintain it by sending it in to the manufacturer.

These soldering irons take a beating from the shop and just keep going ( very happy ) !

As advertised, worked out well. Very good quality. Used for soldering to heat sinks. It is a big unit but powerful and built to last.
