This is an excellent basic cookology cooker hood, with fantastic extraction of steam of 4 pans boiling. The looks are quality, it’s made well. Although it doesn’t come with carbon filters. These you will need to purchase separately. At £14.99 on Amazon too. The lights which shine a good output of light onto the cooker hob is also excellent. Saying it’s a basic, isn’t my intention of degrading the product. It’s a simple model, it doesn’t have unnecessary features, yet it delivers highly for the price range. I looked at cooker hoods from a wide range of models and I chose this one. I am extremely proud of my purchase. It delivers on sheer power and light. It’s cheap and does an excellent job for those interested in a product at a budget that’s affordable. If I could give it 7 stars, I would. It truly deserves all the praise and attention.I was interested in a cooker hood because I live in a ground floor flat, it has a smoke alarm that is mains operated and is extremely sensitive. Especially when cooking dinner.I don’t have a problem anymore, it’s been solved thanks to this amazingly beautiful product.Thank you, Cookology

Cooker had was delivered very quickly, only issue was the instructions, which made no sense at all. Took over an hour to put up. We had to chip into the plaster to make it sit flush next to the chimney as there was nowhere else for it to sit. Other than that the light is nice and bright and the fan does what its ment to. I haven't had a chance to clean it yet hence the one star for cleaning. Great value for money if you don't mind spending a little longer putting it up and finishes the kitchen of nicely.

I never write reviews but have gone out of my way to do so for this cooker hood. This is a superb purchase!It is excellent value for money and of equal quality to the broken Creda unit it has replaced. Delivery came 2 days quicker than expected and was well packaged.You will need to do a bit of head scratching for the installation of the chimney portion as the instructions aren't too clear but it is fairly straightforward and only a very minor quibble.I had a question regarding carbon filters so emailed the seller. I got a quick response. For anyone wondering, you only need carbon filters if you aren't ducting to outside. As my fitment is ducted to outside, I was told I didn't need them. This doesn't come with carbon filters so if you need them, order separately. They are consumable items (3-6 months) so I recommend ducting to outside if you can.All in all, I highly recommend this product.

Ordered this extractor and it arrived next day, I found the instructions let it down being rather small to read. All in all it is straight forward to assemble and any one could fit one of these. After fitting this in my kitchen I have run the extractor to check it out but have not used it propery so far, therefore I am not able to give a credible review. I will update later if need be. All I can add is it looks very smart my wife who is usually a fuss pot with her kitchen loves this and keeps saying how great this looks. Its not very loud and I guess it will be very efficient.

I like the appearance of the brushed stainless steel and the stylish shape. I don't like the fact that it starts vibrating loudly after being on for only half an hour or so, and I have decided that the likely reason is that I am using it as a recirculating fan and it is wedged between two cupboards so it probably needed more space. Seem to be pokay if I turn it off for a few minutes and then back on the low setting. Also to clean it: the only thing that works is a mix of 1 part Japanese rice wine vinegar and 6 parts water on a damp (not wet) micro fiber cloth. Not really sure if it is doing what is supposed to be doing! Put the two carbon filters in, but don't if I need an additional conversion unit and I do not know if I am supposed to attach the V-flap when in re-circulation mode. The product is good looking and great value but the instruction booklet doesn't answer any of my questions and was not useful for installation either.

Looking around for an extractor fan, I found a very confusing assortment going from crazy expensive down to reasonable in price but not really suitable for my kitchen. Then I found this one at a very realistic price and stainless steel as well. This one comes with all the ducting kit included, what a result! It isn’t difficult to install, you just need to think it through. If you can drill a couple of holes, the job is done. I would like to see the actual hood fastened to the hanger bracket, it just might come off. Otherwise a great purchase which looks good and works quietly and well.

The hood was delivered very quickly and arrived well packed, with quite good instructions. I had to replace an older hood and had decided to do it myself. Installation was reasonably easy (but slow!), and I managed to replace it successfully. Electric supply was easy, since it meant just plugging the item in to a socket for the existing hood. took a few hours of careful work, but I enjoyed the experience! It seems to be functioning fine. The noise levels are lower than in the previous one, extraction seems to be good and the LED light is very good, even though it is a single light set in the middle at the back.
