Why not
If you want a portable radio using makita batteries then why would'nt you just buy this one. Have 2 of them 1 for wqorkshop and 1 for on-site. Of course other tradesmen alreay know they are good.

Makita site radio
Very happy with this site radio . I've had it for six weeks now all other radios I've had in the past would have broken by now . This digital radio is though sounds great i can Bluetooth my phone to it play music that way. I've found the Makita battery lasts about two days with constant use as long as you've got another one ready to go it's not a problem. Would definitely recommend this radio

All in all.... The Bluetooth sells this product
Solid piece of kit, for me it's worth the £120. I've seen cheaper purchases but they don't look substantial enough. I've given 5 stars because I think this is great.... My biggest but is the loudness of sound, it isn't loud enough for me. Plonk a 3ah battery in for 6hrs play.... I get to play amazon music all day.

Great radio!
My husband was very pleased with this present. He’s been using it a lot in his workshop. He loves the bluetooth function of it the best.
