A: Dear customer, this filter is also compatible with Tomxcute 4.0L/135oz Automatic Stainless Steel Pet Fountain

**Q: Does this filter soften hard water?**
A: It’s so tiny, it doesn’t do a whole lot of anything. I have hard water, so I always make sure I use either store bought or filtered water for the fountain, but I do have hard water stains on it after only a few uses

**Q: is this real stainless steal? i’ve seen multiple fountains that claim to be but they’re aluminum**
A: It cleans like stainless steel. Aluminum is hard to keep clean. It is an excellent product and very easy to clean.

**Q: Does it also have an option of being used as a bubbler instead of a faucet?**
