Lovely sturdy item. Good quality and looks super cool in my bathroom. Good size and can remove to add a new roll very easily. Also you can adjust to fit all different size roles. I'm really please. Simple to put up too

It's a bit of fun to have a vintage style loo roll holder. That's why I got it. It's also better than the spring loaded holder that it replaced. That must have sprung out of its fitting hundreds of time in the past. None of that anymore. Good points. Sturdy, heavy, reasonable well made, easy to install. Bas points. Really just the screws that hold the arms out. The threads are poorly cut so need to be tightened and loosened a few times to get the screws to work in a bit to ensure the arms can be tightened. make sure that it is well fixed to the wall as it's fairly heavy. I have another one which has nuts holding the arms which are better.

Exactly what I was looking for, however the screws tend to come loose every now and then, I still love it and it compliments the style of the bathroom.

This product is so bad I sent it back. It is terribly made no doubt in some third world sweat shop. The quality is appalling. Don't waste your money.

Looks really good but a wee bit wobbly due to the old fashioned design and the back plate does pull on the loo roll a bit when unwinding which is a little annoying. If it suits your loo décor those faults aren't enough to put you off. It's not perfect but we like it!

I was uncertain about buying this product after reading other reviews. I purchased it knowing that some of the reviewers down marked it for quality. Here's what I thought/did: 1. People complaining about text alignment - While somewhat true, get over it. The design and manufacture of this product is never going to be 100% perfect, and because of this it looks great! It's the whole point of having a "vintage" look. I love it. This item is a cast, not a machined "perfect" item. It is exactly as pictured and looks amazing when installed. 2. Nuts/bolts coming loose - Yep, can see from the design that could quite possible be the case. The lifting and lowers of the arms is bound to undo at least one of the nuts if there is any resistance between the arm and the nut. I could also see that if the arms are allowed to move freely there was a possibility that the toilet paper could catch against the bottom of the back plate. However, I purchased this item knowing this may be the case and already had a plan. Simple enough. Before fitting to a wall, I decided to superglue the arms and bolts into the optimum placing. No issues! Fixed. (see photos) All in all, item looks great and does it's job. A little modification that takes 5 seconds and all highlighted issues posted by other reviews can easily be fixed. Personally, I recommend this product and think it looks great.
