I've had a number of Lapel Microphones, some costing as much as $100.00 & this is one of the best, if not the best ever, particularly for the low price! It performed good on a Canon T7i video camera, which was not included or mentioned in the advertising, but did not perform quite as good on the Canon Camera as on the GoPro Hero 11.Only did tests inside and did not put on the wind muffler, but had a somewhat noisy room fan funning, and it performed very well with the GoPro, it knocked out the background noise from the fan almost entirely, where the noise from the fan was much more noticeable when using it with the Canon camera.Very good quality lapel microphone, particularly for the money and when used with the GoPro.

I use a Media Mod on a GoPro Hero10 Black for moto-vlogging. A mic mounts inside my helmet at chin level. The external mic jack on the Media Mod accepts a TRS (not TRRS) male plug. This lavalier mic is a direct plug-in to a 3.5mm Media Mod jack with a TRS male plug that does not require a converter/adapter from TRRS to TRS. The mic's quality and sound are good, especially at this price point. As always, you get what you pay for, but this mic is definitely functional. I'm giving it a 5-star rating for its usefulness and low price. If you want Rode quality sound, you need a Rode mic and supportive equipment.

Pretty good mic for the price. I suggest a (separate purchase) volume control. The mic is subject to wind popping and distortion even with included foam sock. GoPro's internal control does a poor job with spiking so dialing back a tad on noise level with a volume control does wonders to improve windy sound.

Shipped fast. Quality was good. Just couldn't get it to work with any of our android phones

This plugs in and works great. The Media Mod for GoPro is designed for a TRS microphone. This doesn't work like it is one. Your audio will only have left channel from this mic. I'm having to fix it in editing. Other than that this microphone sounds good, works good and has a good sized cord.

I purchased for my GoPro Hero 9. I used it with the Media Mod. The sound out of it was mono. Only the left side. I tried it in my Desktop PC and it wouldn't stay in so i held it and again just coming from one speaker on playback. I returned it for a replacement. I received the replacement and exactly the same thing. If it is supposed to be like this then i just am not properly reading the description. I will return this and not get a replacement this time from lavalier. This should be simple so if i am just missing something let me know.

I have this mounted on my helmet microphone sounds pretty good. Make sure that you connect it real well so that it doesn’t bounce around or you’ll get a clicking noise works very good for my audio needs.
