The paper is thick enough for pencils, colored pencils, and light markers without bleeding through. The pages are smooth, easy to draw on, and the book feels sturdy. Perfect for sketching, doodling, and practicing artwork. Excellent quality for the price! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good pad for most of your artwork. It’s very smooth, so It won’t be a go to for water colors *by O***H on January 30, 2025* A very nice sketch pad,,,,I wouldn’t hand this to a 3 year old, that will scribble away,,,a doodle pad will work for that. This pad is very nice and the paper has a good weight. I did get it for a grandchild and ended up drawing some pictures and I really liked the feel of it. I sketch quite often and I have some nice ones. Bristol, strathmore, canon and I have discovered castle’s brand is not bad either, and would be a good transition for your budding artist. Soucolors texture is smooth and therefore perfect for children and crayons or pencil sketching. The best part? Very affordable. The hardback makes it something you can take anywhere and have a good surface to work on. I want to say the pounds press for inch is 65, which isn’t bad, at this price point. I think this sketch pad will make any young artist feel special and understand the importance of savoring each page. The ring binding is really sturdy and makes turning the pages over, a breeze. No more losing much of your drawing space to the turnover crease. 100% usage of each page. I’ll say it again….I’ve been sketching for decades and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and very proud to give this to my very talented grandson, to do his story boards on. It works great with charcoals ,as well. I can’t say enough good about this sketch pad. ## Frequently Bought Together - Soucolor Cute Sketchbook 9" x 12" for Women, 1-Pack 100 Sheets Spiral Notebook Drawing Pad for Girls, Pastel Girls' School Art Supplies for Beginner Artists, Arts and Crafts Gifts Set for Kids Adults - Soucolor 72-Color Colored Pencils for Adult Coloring Books, Back to School Supplies, Soft Core Artist Sketching Drawing Pencils Drawing Supplies, Art Supplies Kit for Adults Kids, Coloring Pencils Set - SuFly Sketch Book 9x12, Drawing Paper Pad,100 Sheets, Top Spiral Sketch Pad, 68lb/100gsm Sketchbook for Kids, Art Supplies for Adults, White. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/495966177-soucolor-cute-sketch-book-9-x-12-drawing-paper-pink](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/495966177-soucolor-cute-sketch-book-9-x-12-drawing-paper-pink) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
