Lovely retro tin which takes 500g bags of icing sugar. Not sure how easy it will be to clean but, as I always store my sugars and flours in a bag before putting them in the tins, it won’t be an issue I don’t think. Nice to have a hinged lid but may make tipping a bit tricky but it looks good and is nice and sturdy. I did think that this was a little expensive for what it is (the other tin they do is for caster sugar and that isn’t as expensive as the icing sugar one) but I am doing my kitchen out so it is not like I will have to buy lots of the icing sugar ones!

Nice Tin, looks good and does the job.

I bought this tin on Amazon prime day at 44% off. At this price they are good value, however I would not have paid the full price. A 1.5kg of flour just fits, but is very snug. Some reviews complain that the metal is thin, and it is, but thick enough to serve its purpose. Time will tell how stable they are.

Nice retro looking storage but smaller than expected - doesn't take a kg of flour

For the reduced price this was very good value. Construction, metal gauge, paint coverage are all good.It is not perfect, there are many tiny scratches over parts of the tin, mine specifically has more than a dozen tiny scratches and scuffs on one side where the label part is painted on. They don't break the paint but they are easily noticeable from one side to another and when opening the lid. If you want a perfect finish like you would get with a well applied enamel coating then this isn't perfect. But it is 4stars nice.
