Review: Worth the money! - This product worked really well. The color is vibrant and pretty. Only took a few days to dry. I only did one coat and was satisfied and had lots of paint left over that i painted my bar stools too and still had paint left over! I had two of the big bottles. It’s worth the money rather than getting a new couch.

A tip for cost savings is use this for the cushions you sit on because it stays soft and adds a little hint of color in even the first coat. And then the borders and sides of the couch buy acrylic paint and paint those areas you don’t sit on. The acrylic paint is stiffer but it also gives a starch to the fabric so pillow cushions are easier to fluf. The first photo shows light green the second is the dark green. I like the light green it looks richer like a chartreuse color. The original color was an olive gray green but it faded and just looked sad.

**Q: Can you advise, how many I would need to cover a small ottoman?**
A: Depending on the original color. I used a whole bottle to touch up some sun bleaching on a black sofa and still is a little noticeable

**Q: Can this be used on a lampshade? Will the warmth of a bulb affect the paint?**
A: I don't think the heat will affect the paint.  I put it on car upholstery that gets a whole lot hotter than a lamp shade.  Worked great by the way.

**Q: do you have to rewet or spray with water again before the 2nd coat?**
A: I would highly recommend spraying with water before each layer. It keeps the fabric softer and makes it look more dyed than ‘painted’

**Q: I used this on a chair and it made the fabric hard and stiff. How can I make it soft again?**
A: You can’t! You have to wet the fabric when you first apply the dye. That’s what makes it stay soft. Once it’s dried it can’t be softened. The more water you spray on the fabric when applying the dye the softer the fabric stays

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Coverage for Velvet

Have been looking for a little while for a fabric paint for velvet (to include poly velvet). I bought a beautiful bed bench that was supposed to be pure bright white. However, when it delivered, it was a creme color. I got this paint in white and rolled it on with a 4 inch long mini foam paint roller and a mini roller handle. It worked perfectly. I do not even think it is going to need a second coat. I did apply the paint very liberally. Let it dry for a few days. The velvet looks and feels soft and new. I did run a soft low powered vacuum over it to sort of fluff it up a little after completely dry.
