This product worked really well. The color is vibrant and pretty. Only took a few days to dry. I only did one coat and was satisfied and had lots of paint left over that i painted my bar stools too and still had paint left over! I had two of the big bottles. It’s worth the money rather than getting a new couch.

If your fabric is faded from the sun; don’t be scared this stuff works like paint and puts a little upgrade to your furniture without the huge price. A tip for cost savings is use this for the cushions you sit on because it stays soft and adds a little hint of color in even the first coat. And then the borders and sides of the couch buy acrylic paint and paint those areas you don’t sit on. The acrylic paint is stiffer but it also gives a starch to the fabric so pillow cushions are easier to fluf. The first photo shows light green the second is the dark green. I like the light green it looks richer like a chartreuse color. The original color was an olive gray green but it faded and just looked sad.

Have been looking for a little while for a fabric paint for velvet (to include poly velvet). I bought a beautiful bed bench that was supposed to be pure bright white. However, when it delivered, it was a creme color. I got this paint in white and rolled it on with a 4 inch long mini foam paint roller and a mini roller handle. It worked perfectly. I do not even think it is going to need a second coat. I did apply the paint very liberally. Let it dry for a few days. The velvet looks and feels soft and new. I did run a soft low powered vacuum over it to sort of fluff it up a little after completely dry.

[Raspberry] Worked pretty good. I painted a brand new microfiber/velour king size headboard (it's a Modway headboard in the very light gray color). I used a spray bottle and sprayed it down generously before applying and used a paintbrush to apply. It took about 45 minutes to get each coat and two coats used 75% of the large bottle. The color was pretty inconsistent with the first coat but the fabric was still kind of soft after, but the fabric definitely changed with the second coat (it is no longer 'brushable'? or soft like most velvet or microfiber is). I'm not sure how I'd feel about this if it was a chair I'd sit in but thankfully I painted a headboard that won't be touched. I was less concerned with keeping the texture of the frabric and more concerned with the headboard being this color - 5 stars for color, 3 stars for changing the fabric - 4 stars over all.

I had an old pair of black slip-ons that had faded to a brassy color from sun exposure and developed some spots from an oil-based stain. They were incredibly comfortable, so I wanted to save them, and this stuff worked perfectly. I wouldn’t use it on surfaces you’ll regularly touch because it does take away some of the fabric’s soft, tactile feel, but visually the color restoration is excellent.

my chairs were a l ight velvet but the paint rubbed off and it did not go on even , i read it was good to spray water so it would soak up but still i tried scotchguard to and sealer and i finally tossed the chairs , don't use on velvet unless your ready to spend alot the standard bottle and the double size is used about 4 bottles worth and it was not worth it , try it one but for velvet google said put some water on the fabric to soak and on here it said do not use water . i'm not sure i would try again I used the blue on yellow chairs and it was pretty teal but not good enough, i wish i would have used fabric spray from another brand for exterior chairs and this brand doesn't have it that i know of i gave up and got me new chairs and tossed the others ones there was no way i was gonna keep going as a former designer and faux finish artist I would not go for this, besides i installed new wood plank tiles i black and i preferred to find a deal on ebay for white bar stools with wood iwas better off. , this paint did not go on even and i had the best brush perhaps it works on regular fabric.

Incredibly happy with the results! AI told me this would be a great product for changing the color of the border on my rugs. I taped it off with painters tape, wet the edges of the rug with water, and applied the black Fabricoat dye with a cheap 2 inch paintbrush. I even added a little water to the dye to thin it out a tiny bit. It was easy to apply. As soon as I applied it to the entire border, I just pulled off the painters tape and it was perfect. I laid it on the ground on a painters tarp for the night to dry. I had washed them with a steam vac before I ever painted them, also. I couldn’t be happier with the results. It didn’t bleed it was easy to apply and it’s nice and dark. One coat. I it wanted to match my banister that had been painted and match the other accents in the room that are black. Highly recommend.!

I used this fabric paint to touch up my sun-bleached furniture. Overall the fabric looks better, however after several coats, the application still appears streaky. Still calling it a win!
