Buy these!
Nice set. Would be 5 star rating except I wish they had the flat side on the shank to differentiate them from my other bits. With proper lubricant, speed and pressure the bit I used went through stainless steel no problem. Would buy again. GREAT PRICE TOO!

Good value, not perfect, but hard to beat
Product is a steal at 120$ given the hardness of the bits and the vast selection you get with the 115 or so bits that come with it.The case may arrive with a busted brass rivet or bent case like mine, but all the bits were still held in place with the Styrofoam which is more important for those small bits that are unlabeled. If the rivet is broken, it's pretty easy to just pop in a new one from aluminum or steel rivets I had on hand. The bent sheet metal case? It's thin stuff so it was easy to bend straight by hand.My biggest issue is that a few of the bits I used (#44 size specifically) didn't run true in the drill press. But runout wasn't so big of an issue as I just used a starter drill bit and then chased that with the #44 drill bit.Performance-wise though, hard to beat. The bits cut like butter through mild steel and they don't shatter easily like those cheaper titanium plated drill bits. In the end, worth every penny. Also, the 8 or 9 bits I measured with a micrometer were indeed true in size. Very pleased with my new set and worth the money 💰

Tough and hard bits!
a) The packaging was acceptable and informative on what was inside. However the plastic used is very flimsy and since the hinge is just the plastic ...I believe it will crack after only a few uses , especially on a cold day.b) The drills themselves are pretty exceptional. Sharp, straight, and easy to remove from the case. Cuts through any wood in a clean and precise manner ( no burrs left behind) . I was certainly impresses when I used one of the smaller bits to drill through an aluminum frame with a steel backing fairly easily. The bit showed a tiny bit of wear but appears to have maintained it edge and surprisingly did not get hot drilling through the metal!

Really did the job for me...
I needed a set of drill bits capable of drilling into steel, in this case, a steel gate post. None of the bits I had would bite, despite being a general purpose bit. I ordered these. They arrived quickly and did the job. Be advised that the bits are metric, so if you use inches you may need to do a quick calculation to determine which size bit you need. Personally, I just eyeballed it, comparing the screw and bit visually. That seemed to work just fine. Great price and good quality. I would recommend these to anyone.

Sharp and true (no wabble)
Great drill bits. They cut very well. (Be sure to use them with a slow speed to prevent over heating which leads to dulling). They are truly straight, no tip wabble.

Poor quality case
Drill bits seem ok, but packaging was awful. The metal case and holders the bits came in were unusable. Looked like a bomb went off. Case destroyed and bits everywhere.

Cuts like a chimp.
Say these bits are really good cut through the piece of steel that I had in like 15 seconds no joke.So far highly recommend it

The hardness of a wet noodle
Very soft steel. The cutting lip folded over on itself after a few seconds of drilling a bolt. The bolt barely suffered a scratch.Just to test, I tried drilling the same bolt with an old Harbor Freight bit, which has exactly the quality you'd expect from a HF tool, and it cut just fine.As a second test, I tried a larger not-yet-damaged bit from the same set against a mild steel welding coupon, and that was successful. It drilled with effort, but without obvious damage. A Harbor Freight HSS bit cut that mild steel plate effortlessly. So, it can cut at least something. This is just too soft to drill out bolts. See photo. A damaged bit next to another one fresh out of the box. Look at the cutting lip damage.
