Good quality, strong hold , very useful
Well made strong useful they close shut and lock by twisting the the threaded screw piece upwards to lock shut they are useful for small things to hang or keep shut I used them to hang my sugar gliders sleeping pouch up unfortunately they figured out how to un do them smart little buggers Iโve since gotten them a different pouch but Iโm still glad I got them I used them for all kinds of things theyโre handy to have for small things and to hang small things could even use them in n a keychain or something like that.

Item works as advertised. I used this to slip over a few brass eyelets on a tarp and had to flatten the eyelet a bit to get into the locking chain links. Only wish the opening was 1/6 inch wider.

easy to use and hard to remove on accident
very strong definitely recommended if you need it for small items, the size is not too big but not small either so you can easily put things into it the material is hard and not a weird texture either very easy to touch without hating the texture, easy to twist and it doesnt just twist by itself if you move too much either

No good for heavy load
This size link is normally rated for 200# load, but these fall far short of that; less than 100# will literally pull them apart. Note that the product listing for this particular link does NOT list any specified useful load. But competitors' identical sizes are 220#. The problem is simply loose thread fit. The threaded nut pulls off the link end, so loose that it doesn't even deform the threads. Once it's off, you can clearly see that the short-end thread is much smaller diameter than the long-end thread. It's too bad, the materials are nice and rust-proof, but these should ONLY be used for very light loads, 20# or so would be my guess. The strength exists only in the material bend, and not in the thread fastening. This should be regarded as only a "lock in place" feature.
