Works without problems, needs a separate cable for device attachment.

This doesn't come with cable which is incredibly frustrating if you're ordering it because you've lost your charging set up. Not the end of the world, hence the four stars and even the refurbished version works well and very fast charge.

I bought this fast charger but haven't tried it yet however I think buyers are being stung on the price.

I feel like I have to order these a lot. Children seem to lose these like they are sweet wrappers stuffed in their pockets to be forgotten about. Every time we go away we come back with one less. This is the plug which connects the USB cable from an Amazon Kindle or Kindle Fire HD although it is versatile enough to charge anything via USB. These plugs are well built, easy to spot and quite chunky, making them hard to mislay (or so you would think). The only complaint I would have with this OEM USB charger is the price. I understand that this is the officially branded Amazon plug, but even so. As a replacement item I do feel that it is quite overpriced. I do recommend their use though over a generic USB plug as these can sometimes have a negative affect on the battery of your Amazon tech. So, there is some truth in that you should use only the charger items come with in order to charge.
