Hydromol Ointment, 500 g

This cream ticked all the boxes for me.Both myself & my husband have ecsma his is more serious than mine.I wanted an aqueous cream that would lock-in moisture, one that could be used over our normal prescriptive treatment cream for an extra moisture boost.Plus this cream is free from SLH and other nasties which ticked the boxes for us big time.You can use as little or as much as you want. It does not dry into the skin but provides a deeply moisturising locking in affect.My skin was soft, hydrated and stopped flaking, it was soothing.I use this cream on my face to lock-in the moisture and protect from harsh weather that played havoc with the ecsma on my face.This cream performs admirably and is reasonably priced and has nothing irritating nor nasty in it. Especially No SLS!I would highly recommend this aqueous cream, it does what it says, plus I could really put it on thick of an evening and use it as a wash too! Good stuff!

Amazing for skin. Can use in bath or shower and afterwards. Really helps extremely dry skin. Massive pot will last a very long time. I work in a hospital and we use it there, which js why I bought some for at home as I knew how good it was.

Used as a soap and moisturiser to help keep my psoriasis at bay. Works great and lasts quite a long time.

This was recommended to me by the district nurse who is currently coming to re-dress wounds to my lower legs. My skin had become seriously dry whilst in hospital, despite copious applications of other brands of cream.Bought the biggest pot of this I could find after the first home visit from the district nurse - it's great! Completely non fragrant (I react badly to most artificial scents) and leaves my legs feeling smooth and silky (at least until it's about time for the next dressing change). When we're done with the dressings I'll be trying it on very dry knees and elbows too.Be aware though that it's very thick and sticky so you probably wouldn't want to apply it before putting on anything other than cotton PJs. Small price to pay for going to bed feeling smooth. soft and moist (in the right way), rather than hard and cracking!

Why did you choose this product over others?:Used this brand before so I thought I’ll get a big tub of it. It really helps my dry itchy skin. Would recommend it to anyone with any type of bad skin

Brilliant, using it as bedbound at the moment, protects and nourishes my skin really well.

Helpful product-reasonably priced

Was told to purchase this by my GP for my son's rash however it actually caused the rash to become worse so patch test before applying to skin irritations
