Great product overall!
This product is extremely good for sticking statues or figures down. I use this on my hot toys collection to stop them from falling over. Only thing I didn’t like is it’s more like a glue than a putty. But overall good product

Works well.
I have this holding down an expensive clock, and used it to help steady pictures mounted on a wall. has a lot of uses actually. Bit pricey for what it is though.

does the job
I use Quake Hold for my exhibitions. It fixes clay and other objects so that they don't wobble and fall and is perfect for furniture on an uneven surface. Stick a little ball of it underneath and they'll stay put.

Doesn’t hold well
Perhaps I’m using this wrong but I can’t get it to stick very well. I certainly wouldn’t trust it in an earthquake. Maybe the clear gel is what I need. I followed the instructions to hold a ceramic vase on wood. It does grip but not very convincingly and the object is very easily moved. I thought it might “set” firm in time but I don’t see any difference. Not cheap and I now have a large pot of wax that I don’t really know what I can use it for!

Garbage.
Scooped out a nug. the second it contacts my skin, it just becomes like hair gel. Tried with nitrile gloves, save effect. Tried different sized amounts, unable to maintain cohesion. Finally succeeded using an amount far too large for the intended purpose and the lightest of feather touches to roll the ball. Kinda works if what you're trying to secure is huge. Wouldn't trust it enough to actually use for anything delicate though. It's a pass from me, Bob.

Very sticky and messy
Leaves a lot of mess, thought I could use this to pin down objects but is more hassle than it’s worth as it’s basically like sticky Vaseline.

Perfect tool for this job
PROS: -Little goes a long way. You get a big jar for a pretty small amount of money. In most things I’ve found you only need about a pea size amount of wax. So this jar should last you ages unless you’re literally tacking down a museum worth of items. -Works well. Like I said, I usually use just a pea amount of the wax in anything I need it for. And with that I even usually divide it into 4 parts and stick some on each of the four corners of my items and press firmly. After that, the items isn’t going anywhere. I don’t live in earthquake country and I don’t have a cat or child but I am positive it would work great against any of those. -Removes easily. A simple twist of the item and it comes off. And so far I haven’t had any issue with wax damage. -Easy to work with. It’s a simple matter of scoop, squad it between your fingers a couple times, place, and press. No real kneading required. CONS: -Although it is easy to work with it can be a little difficult to get a decent amount of wax out at once. The scoop it provides is pretty small and weak compared to the solid block of wax. Most things only need a small amount anyway so it doesn’t matter, but if you need a lot or need it often you’ll probably need to swap for a better scoop that can handle the thick wax. -Though I haven’t had an issue with wax damage, I can tell the residue can be a pain to get off. So far it’s been able to come off with simple rubbing but it might need proper cleaning at some times. I don’t know if this will adversely effect items you stick it to -Not clear. Personally I don’t count this as a negative since seems obvious that it is going to be white since it’s a wax and not a gel, but since it does say clear in the title I feel I should mention this. Overall if you need something like this, this is probably your best bet. I wanted to use the gel since it seems a little easier to work with, but that one specifically says it’s not good for wood or porous material. This one is supposed to be better for those materials so I tried it. I am not disappointed. I can also tell this is gonna last me for years.

Very useful around the house
When you want to keep something in place, fairly securely, these are great Especially in places where there is potential for bumping, this product has worked well for me. Don't be shy, and use a decent sized blob, and really squish what you are mounting to the surface. You may need to warm up the wax in your hand first, or at least get it to room temperature When you want to remove, it's not the easiest to clean, but not impossible. I just use some dirty rags, and throw them away after

100% worth it!
After reading a review saying they had a rock collection and it held their rocks nicely in place I too purchased it. Come 4 days later after using it to hold my crystal collection in place on my shelves I can confirm not a single crystal moved while there was a demolition excavator nextdoor ripping down the the house next to us and our house was shaking. We had drywall crack but nothing with the museum wax moved!!! Very pleased. Highly recommend. It claims to also be resusable which I would believe. Only flaw is if the house is really hot (summer windows open) it can get soft and more may be needed for reinforcement still worked fabulous.
