I previously had (and still do on my second helmet) a Lexin LX-FT4 which I really like. Picked up the G16 to install on my other helmet. Overall, the G16 is a great device at a very reasonable price from what you get. Pros -Very well packaged -Easy installation. There are mounting options to find the right location fit. -Sound quality is better than the LX-FT4 which was already good. -Operation is similar to the LX-FT4 so I was familiar with the buttons although it is a different layout on the G16. -Distance is awesome. Although not exact, we managed to get over 1 mile between units. We typically stay much closer while riding so distance should rarely be a issue. -Connecting to bluetooth was effortless on my no-so-mainstream Motorola G7 and connection has never dropped. -Battery life more than adequate for the way I use the G16. -The addition of the light has come in handy many times. It's convenient as the way the G16 is mounted on the helmet, the light is always pointing in the direction your eyes are looking. -Peace of mind knowing you have a two year warranty if anything goes wrong. -Has some bells and whistles such as FM radio, light, 16 rider capability and voice assistant. Cons -Finding the right button to press while gloved up has always been an issue for me. I tend to have to look in the mirror to confirm I'm pressing the correct button. Somewhat easier on the LX-FT4 as it has a scroll wheel and the other buttons are more prominent (stick out from the unit more). However, I am getting used to locating the buttons the more I use the G16. Have not had a need to connect with 16 riders but have tried to connect to 6 in total and the unit worked well. Will provide an update to this review after more use but at this point, I'm very pleased with the G16 as well as my other Lexin unit. Company is quick to respond to issues as I needed a replacement mounting unit for my LX-FT4. This was sent quickly at no charge. Thanks to Lexin for making quality products at reasonable prices!

It has to be a tentative 5-stars at the moment, as I just received this and haven't tested it under riding conditions, but the installation was easy and the speakers and button mic fit perfectly into my Scorpion EXO Ryzer helmet, including the fit of the speakers into the 5 mm deep speaker helmet pockets in the helmet. The bluetooth connection went smoothly and quickly, and the sound is excellent, and plenty loud for both music and phone calls. I doubt I'll be using it as an intercom, so no comment on that. I haven't yet used it while riding the bike, but the sound is loud and clear enough that road noise shouldn't be a problem at all (but we'll see). If necessary, I'll amend my rating and review after using the headset for a while under actual riding conditions, but my preliminary experience has been excellent. Very well priced also, compared to other units.

The only reason I'm giving 4 stars, I almost gave 3, is because the item is very inexpensive comparatively. However, this one doesn't come with a radio, the voice activation button doesn't seem to work (it just repeats the battery level) and the skip forward intermittently works. It's extremely annoying to use the skip feature because I can go a mile down the road trying to double press the stupid button, and it will just keep beeping in my ear telling me the volume is maxed. ***eyeroll There doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to the speed at which to double-press the button that will make it work consistently. The other features, sound quality, mic, and battery do work very well though.

I started riding about four years ago. I never had any use for a communicator until my brother started riding with me. I really felt the need to communicate with him when we need to slow down,stop,turn,etc. I didn't want to spend a fortune, but I do appreciate getting what you pay for. I had almost settle on cardo or sena and decided instead to try these. So far they work flawlessly. After pairing to your phone the first time the phone and headset connect instantly. As soon as you turn it on it connects to the phone and tells you your battery life. The battery life is fantastic. I hardly ever charge it and usually listen to music the whole ride. When you need to connect to the other rider you tap one button. The music pauses and within seconds you're speaking with the other rider. One more tap and you're back to your music. Love it . I have a standard HJC helmet. Nothing fancy and the speakers fit inside perfectly. The sound quality is more then adequate especially since they're so close to your ears . I usually keep the volume well below maximum. I ride a Harley with straight pipes. Its loud ! Even with that I can hear my music and the other rider perfectly. The phone option works great too. When my phone rings i can tap one button to answer. Thats exactly what i wanted to able to do.. The built in color changing trim is really cool looking at night and the built in flashlight is very useful at night also. I highly recommend this to anyone that whats a great communicator for a fair price. I'm going to purchase one more for the helmet I have for my passenger also.

It’s cheap, It works, it holds a charge for a long time, the sound is good, super easy to install, definitely worth getting.

Easy to install on helmet. Adhesive tape works perfectly. Plenty loud enough. Battery lasts a long time, first time charging it after a year. Bluetooth pairing is easy. Volume buttons are easy to find and press with gloves on

Ich nutze die Geräte nur zum Musik/Verkehrsfunk hören und vor allem für die Navigationsansagen. Die Kommunikationsfunktion benötige ich nicht und kann daher dazu nichts sagen. Nachdem ich bisher ein relativ billiges (80€) NoName Produkt nutzte, kann ich aber den krassen Unterschied zum FT4 Pro bei der Klang- und Produktqualität umsomehr hervorheben. Natürlich kommt das Headset nicht an hochwertige Kopfhörer heran, aber ich war wirklich verblüfft, um wieviel besser Musik und Sprache beim FT4 Pro klingen, als bei meinem alten Gerät. Die Verarbeitung ist im Vergleich auch sehr wertig und stabil. Die Installation am/im Helm ist total problemlos und schnell erledigt. Nachdem die Grundplatte am Helm montiert ist, wird die Basisstation einfach nur in die Kunststoffhalterung eingeklippt. Sie sitzt dann bombenfest. Das hat bei mir aber auch zum einzigen Problem geführt, da ich beim Versuch, die Basis wieder auszuklinken, etwas falsch gemacht hatte und mir dabei die „Haltenase“ abgebrochen ist. Wichtig ist nämlich, die Basis von unten herauszuziehen und nicht zu versuchen, die obere Nase nach hinten wegzubiegen. Ohne die Haltenase funktioniert das Ganze leider gar nicht mehr. Also habe ich einen Sonntag! genutzt, um Lexin per Amazonkontaktformular (auf Englisch) anzuschreiben. Zu meiner großen Überraschung hat sich bereits nach EINER Stunde eine Mitarbeiterin (aufDeutsch) gemeldet, die sich das Problem schildern lies und dann meinte, dass sie mir das Ersatzteil gleich zuschicken würde. Da sie aber kein Lager in Europa hätten, würde sie es mir aus USA schicken und das würde wohl drei Wochen dauern - ob ich so viel Geduld hätte…Hatte ich natürlich und was soll ich sagen, es kam eine Zwischeninfo über den Versand und bereits nach zwei Wochen war nicht nur das defekte Teil sondern ein kompletter Montagesatz im Briefkasten. Ich bin ehrlich begeistert!

Sono molto contento del interfono, anche se non l'ho usato tantissimo in coppia...semmai rivedrò la recensione più avanti dopo averlo testato meglio. L'ho usato molto da solo abbinandolo al cellulare e si collega subito dopo aver fatto l'accoppiamento con lo smartphone. Riesco a rispondere alle telefonate comodamente cliccando soltanto la rotella, la conversazione è abbastanza nitida se la velocità non è sostenuta (sotto i 90km/h), non ho avuto la possibilità di verificarlo con velocità autostradali visto il periodo di pandemia. Si può ascoltare la radio FM che è integrato nell'intefono oppure la musica presente sul telefono o con i servizi di streaming (spotify, prime music, etc). L'audio è molto nitido e potente, infatti lo tengo al minimo per poter riuscire a sentire i suoni esterni ed evitare di essere isolati a se stessi. L'ho montato sui 2 casci in mio possesso, ho tribolato un po sul SHOEI GT-AIR 2 perchè in questo casco è presente la predisposizione per l'internofo della SHOEI, infatti ai lati ci sono delle placca di plastica che fanno spessore, comunque alla fine rimane ben fissato rimuovendo la cover della placca sinistra. Il cablaggio viene ben integrato e nascosto sotto le imbottiture. Considerato il costo di questo interfono sono pienamente soddisfatto.

This is an amazing piece of kit.The sound quality is great and it is really easy to install and use. They also pair up really easily with other non lexin products so there is no need to buy the really expensive other brand headsets. I will be purchasing this again for my pillion to use and will be recommending that my mates also purchase these. Well done Lexin would have given it 10 stars if i could have done.

Let's start from the assumption that they offer everything at a low price (light, FM radio, intercom and music sharing). But let's go with order: pros: - super advantageous price, -easy installation and pairing with the phone, -many installation options for all types of helmets, -the light is very useful and powerful, -the audio is very loud, even too loud if you like it -in intercom mode you can communicate even at high speeds with no sound interference - very good battery life - easy to pair with other drivers - perfect connection at 300+ meters -waterproof - fast charging - easy to call and use Siri/google cons: -the noise cancellation could be more aggressive, -the instructions are not very clear at first, -the adhesive must be applied well otherwise it could come off. in conclusion I recommend it for anyone who is looking for a cheap and functional intercom, the battery is infinite and you can listen to excellent quality music

Hiermit möchte ich in kurzen Worten meine Erfahrung nach einem halben Jahr mit diesem Headset teilen. Die Installation im Helm ist durchweg einfach und selbsterklärend. Die Anleitung dazu liegt natürlich bei und erleichtert das Ganze. Die richtige Position der Lautsprecher zur Ohrmuschel kann unter Umständen, je nach Helm, etwas Zeit in Anspruch nehmen. Die Lautsprecher haben einen sehr guten Klang, am besten in Verbindung mit Spotify oder ähnlichem. Das Radio funktioniert ebenso ohne Probleme, nur ein wenig leiser als bei Verwendung mit Musik über Bluetooth. Die Verbindung zweier Lexin Geräte funktioniert problemlos, ohne Aussetzer oder Kommunikationsabbrüchen. Getestet wurde nur in Verbindung mit zwei Geräten. Der Akku hält wahnsinnig lang, was mich bei Erstverwendung schon fast gewundert hat. Ich bin knappe 2000km gefahren, darunter viel in der Stadt und bin jetzt erst am dritten Mal aufladen, eingeschlossen die Erstaufladung bei Erhalt. Das Gerät ist absolut Wasserdicht, da ich schon bei starkem Regen damit unterwegs war. Für mich gibt es keine Fahrt mehr ohne. Meine Zwecke erfüllt es zu hundert Prozent und ich würde es mir immer wieder kaufen. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist unschlagbar!
