MyVolts9V power supply adaptor compatible with Alesis Q49 MIDI controller - UK plug

While the Q49 will work powered by a USB connection if you're using it with a computer, this adapter allows you to use it with other MIDI equipment away from the computer. The adapter is well made, with a generous cable length and a snug connection into the Q49. It's simple, unglamourous, but - to steal a quote from a well-known paint company - it does what it says on the tin.

As the Q49 keyboard doesn't come with a power supply this power adaptor is indispensable if you want to use it without USB connection. i.e. controlling other midi modules from the midi socket with no computer present. The adaptor is small and well made and the lead from it is approx. 5ft long. Enough to reach the floor easily if you use the keyboard on a stand. Good product at a good price.
