Love this wonderful fix for sink stopper that broke years ago! Beautiful gold faucet and gold drain and now I have a gold stopper again instead of open hole!! Thank you!!!!

I chose this to replace a broken pop-up drain plug. Not only does it serve this purpose well, but it has also reduced the need for drain cleaner, as it catches most debris, and hair, that has caused problems in the past. Plus, it is brass coloured which matches the rest of our bathroom fixtures.

I love this. It catches hair and everything from going down the sink. Easy to clean too. Water continues to runs out smoothly after the cleaning.

So I got this for the bathroom my children share. After having to clear out a massive clog, and then one of them dropping a AAA battery down the drain, I decided I needed something to keep the pipes clear. I saw this and decided to give it a try. Out of the box, it didn't fit snug. I tried the other o-ring that is included, but that was just a tad too large. So I went with the once that came on it out the box. Even though its not a super tight fit, it is still tight enough to stay in place, even when cleaning the sink. I can pop it out, and clean it off if the water starts to drain slower. That's the best part. Its easy to just take out an clean, and then you get to see all the crap that used to just go down the drain.It's not perfect, but I wouldn't hesitate to use one again. The price is still way cheaper than calling a plumber, even if you have a home warranty.

We had an older bathroom faucet with a drain stopper that was constantly getting clogged, draining slowly, and doing a poor job of holding water in the sink. We removed the old stopper, cleaned the drain, and got this new sink stopper to replace the old one. This sink stopper is nearly identical to a lot of other sink stopper offerings on Amazon, but this one is gold colored, which my kid loves. The material is stainless steel with a silicone backing and a silicone washer. There are actually two size washers included with this stopper. The pre-installed one is for 1” - 1.25” drains, and the larger one is supposed to fit up to 1.5”. I have what I would call is a standard size drain (1.25”) - so I used the pre-installed washer, but a lot of the newer sinks comes with a 1.5” drain hole. The product description shows white washers, but they are really more of a clear / translucent color which works better with this gold color stopper. The stopper itself is just a bit larger than a standard sized poker chip. We tested this stopper by filling the sink basin with a few inches of water, and it held water perfectly for more than an hour, which should be more than enough for how people usually use sinks. After draining, there was a bit of standing water on the drain, so it could be improved by a design that had a little more concave beveling toward the center plug.

It does not fit any of my drains. A simple cheap plastic one works best. I’m sure it fits someone’s drain but not mine. Too bad, it is well made.
