Level Lawn with Minimal Effort – Great Tool! The Walensee Lawn Leveling Rake made a big job surprisingly easy. I now have a beautifully level lawn with minimal effort! The tool feels sturdy and well-made, and the long handle makes it comfortable to use without too much bending. It handled soil and sand smoothly, and saved me a lot of time and hassle. Excellent value – highly recommended for anyone serious about their lawn.

the large version is quite heavy but works reasonably well. Could do with the lower bolts to attach the handle to the rake part being easily removed to help with storage.

Great product! I've got a Walensee scarifying rake which is very effective so thought I'd buy a levelling rake from the same manufacturer. I've never tried a lawn leveling rake before but found it really easy to use and quick to level out over 300kg of top dressing on a lawn. The rake seems to be solidly built and easy enough to assemble and take apart for storage. Very happy with the levelling rake.

I needed this as over the last few years my lawn had become uneven. I had tried using a standard rake to level it but always found it to be not quite right. I was unsure at first whether to fork out and buy one of these rakes but it has been worth it !00%. Its easy to assemble and very durable. It feels solid in your hand even though it breaks down into parts which is great for easy storage. Its very effective in just a few strokes of levelling the lawn. It has saved me so much time and for really not too much money. I would absolutely recommend.

Appears sturdy and well made. The frame piece is quite heavy which helped spread top dressing evenly but did make it quite hard work. Certainly much easier than rake and brush to do the same job. Wasn’t the cheapest option.

Despite being advertised as ‘heavy duty’ and appearing solid and robustly made, I was shocked that within two minutes, and after only five passes over grass with a little loose soil, the handle completely sheared off the levelling plate. Instead of a design where the handle socket distributes the load through the frame, this design concentrates the load on a single weld, which if inadequate; as was clearly the case, the weld simply gives way. Walansee is not the only brand to use this socket design, but it IS a serious design flaw. No matter how strong other components are, the weak link is the quality of the weld under pressure. I have purchased other Walansee tools and found them to be robust and excellent value for money. Unfortunately, not in this instance. I have since managed to find a design created for daily use by groundsmen, manufactured in the UK, with a handle socket fit for purpose that spreads the load, and a solid wood handle, for £99. On this occasion, I’m afraid very poor feedback for the Walensee Lawn Levelling Rake, which I have returned to Amazon for a full refund,

Pour notre usage, avec un terrain en pente par endroits, le format 76x25cm est très bien adapté : pas trop encombrant, pas trop large, pas trop lourd. Super pratique et robuste, et ce malgré un manche/mât qui de prime abord peut laisser perplexe. En effet, celui-ci n'est pas parfaitement stable comme vanté dans la description, mais cela ne dérange pas lors de l'utilisation du râteau. Ah oui... "freely adjust the length of pole", euh... pas vraiment : dans les faits, on pourra travailler avec un manche assemblé avec soit 2 soit 3 manchons, c'est tout.

Positiv überrascht. Ich wusste nicht, dass man Erde damit so gut ebnen kann. Eine genilae Erfindung. Qualität ist übrigens 1A.

Ich habe wahrscheinlich viel zuviele Stunden meines Lebens damit verbracht hier Bewertungen von unterschiedlichen Rasenrakeln zu lesen und am Ende diesen hier bestellt. Top Gerät, hat gestern sehr gut funktioniert, sehr stabil und gleitet perfekt (denkt dran den Rasen vorher maximal kurz zu schneiden). Nehmt unbedingt den breiten, das hilft enorm bei grossen Flächen, aber denke selbst bei kleinen hilft es dabei keine lokalen Höhenunterschiede zu kriegen. Einziger Kritikpunkt: wenn man mit dem äusseren Ende des Rakels in etwas reinfährt, verbiegt sich das Gelenk in der Mitte wo der Stiel befestigt ist (das packt diese Hebelkräfte nicht). Man kann ihn aber wieder geradebiegen- sehr oft geht das aber wohl nicht bis das Metall bricht.

I used this rake to flatten and level my garden when I redid the lawn. The rake is solidly built, but easy to handle. The fact that it has a sectioned handle which can be adjusted for length ensures that it is ergonomic no matter what the height of the person using it. The product video is slightly misleading. You cannot expect to pour out some compost and level it out in one go. A small mound of material inevitably accumulates at the leading edge of the rake. So, you have to make several passes after flattening out the mound after each pass. If that mound of excess material gets smaller with each pass - you are doing things right.
