Expressionist Clear Brow Gel

I have been looking for something to cover my stray gray brow hairs and make my brows fuller without the heaviness. I dislike the unnatural brow look. This is exactly perfect. I went a shade lighter (brown) than my natural color (which i think would be dark brown) because I didn't want it to be too bold. So happy with the outcome.

I have pretty dark eyebrows but they get a little “powdery” looking after putting on foundation, eye shadow, etc. This brow gel helps finish off the look and make my eye brows stay put!

My go-to! Hard to find a cleaner brow gel that works great and my brows look fuller. My biggest issue is that it clumps easily so really need to scrape off the excess each time you use it.

Update: I do not understand this product. I ordered blonde and it still looks like dark brown. Overall the formula is great- does not give a reaction and despite the tiny tube it does last a long time. The colors though... Definitely need more work, especially considering the high price. If you don't have black eyebrows, make sure you order the lightest shade possible. Warm brown, which appears camel or carmel colored in the listing, comes as "Brunette", and it is almost black looking when applied to pale skin. In addition to color discrepancy, the bottle is the absolute tiniest thing I have seen in makeup to date. Look at my pictures, showing the teeny tiny tube next to other household objects and my medium female hand. No way this is a good value. If the formula doesn't cause a reaction for me, I may try the blonde color just because I liked the way it applied quickly without much fuss (and every second saved in my morning routine is a plus). 3 stars for clean ingredients, but knocked two for the issues mentioned.

I wanted to love this because it is a lower tox option for a brow gel. The only pro is that the color is as expected. It is hard to get it on without causing clumps/dark smudges that I then have to take off a bit with a q-tip and re-apply. It doesn’t hold eyebrow hair in position like I expect of a gel, so it goes on more like a brow pencil. The worst part is that it smudges constantly. If my sunglasses hit it, it smudges up my face. If my toddler or baby rub against my eyebrows, they get a full imprint of my eyebrow on their skin. It was an expensive tube so I will use it until it is gone but I will be switching brands.

Over the last couple of years I have been moving to cleaner cosmetics. I really like this brow gel. You can be precise and it has a nice hold. If you put too much it will dry with white flaky spots (I have dark brown brows), so just don't overdo it. I also like that I can see in the tube. I know that might sound weird, but when you buy a brow gel in an opaque tube who knows how much product is actually in there?! I like that I can see it haha.

Wanted to love this brand as it has clean products and is affordable. This completely missed the mark. Very thick consistency that stays tacky all day. you can’t wear it without accidentally getting it on something. as soon as you touch your eyebrow, a thick sticky brown substance is suddenly all over your hands. Would not repurchase.
