Difficult to understand manual, but works
Got this on the recommendation as i planned to use a Ubiquiti G4 Doorbell and wanted a separate in house chime. The manual was confusing as its just a series of diagrams with little to no writing as they are trying to accommodate every possible language such as Suomi and Magyayr on a single sheet of paper. As i was installing this for a G4 Doorbell i just followed a video from a UK based Youtuber on how to get it up and running and since then it has worked flawlessly no hicupps. There is a slight time delay between button press and the chime going, but it is no more than a second or two.

I installed it in 5 minutes.
I would recommend. Used it to convert an Edwardian door bell to a wireless one. Was an absolute breeze to install and even my electrician was shooketh at the quality of the product. You’ll need those big mf batteries. Make sure you get them! (C)

Excellent product. Poor Instructions for the system overall
I purchased this add a font door wired bell push to the Honeywell DC313NHGBS 3 Series Doorbell combo pack. It is nicely made, works well and is simple to install once you you on an existing bell push. The only disappointment is that although it can be wired via bell transformer it seems it must be powered by the battery. The transformer voltage is only used to power the existing bell push light. Not a big deal. I knocked it down a star because for the price of this system the instructions should be a lot more comprehensive. Pictograms are fine but something this complex needs some written information/explanation in addition or the pictogram needs to be more extensive. The instructions are printed in the inside of the packaging card which unfolds. They are not the folded paper insert. Once you find them for this bit of the system the instructions are fairly clear and my comment pertains to the system as a whole. I managed to figure it all out but I'm quite good at that sort of thing. Someone less used to wiring and the pairing electronic devices will find this frustrating. And although I managed to pair this to both bell units in the DC313NHGBS package and set the sound and light options specifically for each bell push, I cannot explain exactly how I managed to do that.I wired it leaving the existing electro-mechanical bell operational. See my review of the Honeywell DC313NHGBS. 3 series combo pack for more on that.

Finally got there ... !!
Started this project with Friedland Libra+ 48249SL (Ed.1) chime and Freidland wireless bell push, but we had an old, obsolete, wired bell push which looked better, so we wanted to replace the Freidland wireless push, but without needing to reconnect any mains power, so I purchased the Honeywell DCP917S convertor. According to the instructions it was simply a matter of connecting the wire directly from the old bell push into terminals A1/A2 of the DCP917S, insert the battery and job done, but unfortunately not. At first I thought I hadn’t made a good connection in the DCP917S terminator blocks (they are quite small and fiddly ..), but they were OK. Then I thought the battery might be flat, but even a new one didn’t work. Moved wires into terminals B1/B2 still no luck. Finally looked at the manual for the 48249SL chimes and it confirmed a niggling doubt I had that the chimes needed to be linked to the convertor. It was a very simple task which the manual called “Learning & Unlearning”, but it worked immediately. I’m now very happy with my old bell push converted to wireless!!! Oh I also think I could have left the wires connected into terminals A1/A2, but didn’t bother to change them back.

Can't run off transformer as advertised
Spent ages trying to get this working with a 12v AC transformer as the specs say it should. Ended up speaking to the support people and found out it has to be run off battery. The transformer connection is only for powering a lit doorbell button and not the unit itself. So falsely advertised as being able to run off transformer. Also agree with other comments about the instructions, you don't actually get any. You just get a few pictures and have to guess at the rest.

Top Quality product
This is one of the best products I've bought - I had thought it would be difficult to wire up but was so so simple.I've connected this up with a Victorian door bell pushPolished Brass 100mm dia Bell Push with China Press Mounted On Hardwood Plinth so it looks great.Cant recommend this enough. There are many cheaper alternatives but this is a robust quality product - you pay for what you get and I'd have no hesitation in buying this again.

This will work with a Ubiquiti G4 Doorbell
If you are wanting to add a wireless chime to your Ubiquiti G4 Doorbell, this will work, just have to wire it up correctly and set the chime to digital in Protect. I set the time duration to 10s I think it was, not sure if it needs to be this long, but it works and I am now happy to have a wireless chime again! You need to use the Ubiquiti chime adapter, wire it in to A1 and AC1 and you should be good to go. If you have difficulties, try swapping the wires around, not sure if there is a specific way round that the wires need to be in to the chime adapter or in the the Honeywell wireless but after playing with some varying combos, I finally got it going. I also found a video on YouTube that finally helped confirm I should be able to do it.It was either a combination of swapping the wires or increasing the chime time in the Protect webgui that got it going,

Very poor manual/installation/troubleshooting instructions.
Replacement for a Friedland Decor Evo 46376PL wired-wireless extender that had failed. Very poor pictogram instructions. Red light illuminates briefly when faceplate is attached, presumably indicating that a connection to the existing wired (8V transformer) doorchime is live (nothing on the instructions manual about the significance of that light), but fails to link with Honeywell DC313NHGBS 3 Series Plug In Doorbell with Additional Portable Unit - White (1-Piece) . Publicity assured me that they are compatible.(edited - finally got them linking, no thanks to those poor instructions though; "A Reviewer" comments here were what helped me. So I've raised from 1 to 3 stars)

Campanello Wi-Fi in semplicità
Decisamente consigliato

Better than the wireless doorbell
My Honeywell doorbell gave up very quickly. This one is mounted inside the house and connected to a plain cheap button. Works (and keeps working) like a sharm.
