GPU Header a little too rigid
The GELID Silent PWM (4 pin) Fan Adaptor cable, allows you to connect standard fans (such as Silent Wings or Noctuas) with PWM (4 pin) headers directly to the GPU via this cable. If your GPU and software allows, it will also permit control of the fans via the GPU software for more precise cooling on your GPU. The main issue with this particular cable, is that the GPU side of this cable (mini header) can be tough to insert into the GPUs actual fan header because of how rigid the cable is. This can be circumvented through gentle bending of the cable to the angle that you need it to. I was successfully able to bend it to somewhere between 45 and 90 degrees (but not beyond) without damaging the adaptor cable. I would advise buyers of this cable to be aware of this particular issue, as there have been reports in other reviews by other buyers that they ended up damaging or breaking their cables. Of note, a more minor issue, is that the other side of this cable which allows users to attach their own fans is not of solid construction, so the pins are mobile within their housing and so buyers of this cable need to take extra care not to bend the pins accidentally by forcing in their fan connections unless they are sure the pins are in line with your fan connection. Other than those two points, the cable serves perfectly well to adapt a mini Fan Header on a GPU to a standard PWM Fan, permitting those who wish to install their own fans onto a GPU to do so. For alternatives, on Amazon, there is a different version of this cable named EK Water Blocks Adapter Fan to GPU that does not have the same sleeving as this cable does, so it is much more flexible, allowing easier installation for certain setups. If potential purchasers in need of a cable like this find the stiff cable to be an issue, I would recommend that you seek that one out instead.

Great, check your hardware first though!
Fantastic product, got a VGA cooler on my GTX 970, keeping it cool and super quiet! Never goes above 50c, fans never spin. One thing to watch out for, which I did not, check your GPU before you purchase, most have 4 pin fan headers, but some have 3 (I have never seen any with two, but they may be out there) all I had to do to make it work was mod the connector so it would fit in, I wouldnt advise modding the connector on your card in case it ever needs warranty work, always mod the cable imo. The error was on my part, and isnt exactly a stonker, just something to watch out for.

Size was not clear
Nicely made cconnector, ok price for €3 It's too big for my graphics fan, hopefully this image will help others

Does the job.
This is not a complicated product. It connects the four-pin, mini-PWM fan header on your graphics card to a standard sized PWM fan. If you've replaced the fan on your graphics card and want the new fan to regulate the temperature of the graphics card under the control of the graphics card software then you'll need a cable like this. I used it to connect a Noctua NF-S12A FLX Case Fan 120 mm to my supposedly fanless Powercolor Radeon R9 270. You will need to find the right software and settings to control the fan. In the case of my Radeon, that involved tweaks in the Radeon Settings app. Now instead of overheating during graphically intense games, which it did with no fan, or being noisy all the time as it was with a fan connected direct to the power supply, the fan runs silently most of the time and ramps up when necessary, though it's still whisper quiet, because it's still not running at full speed.

Your mileage may vary! (Reference Sapphire R9 290)
I've bought two different brands of these PWM fan adapters both of which failed for me when using with a Noctua NF-F12 industrialPPC PWM 2000RPM case fan. This review is for my findings on the GELID variant sold here. My graphics card is a reference Sapphire R9 290 model (blower fan with 4-pin mini-PWM port). I intended to use this to power a NZXT Kraken G10/Corsair H55 AIO cooler hybrid. The Noctua fan will only spin up if I plug the fan header in at an angle were the PWM signal PIN is not making contact. Of course this will just push your fan to 100% RPM 24/7 which is the complete opposite of what I and many others need it for. I also double checked this by plugging a Corsair SP120 3-pin fan which reached the same verdict. I had another standard Corsair H60 AIO 4-pin radiator fan lying around to try. Strangely enough this case fan spins up and not at the max speed of 2000RPM either. It was floating at 968RPM and could not be manually adjusted. It did not vary depending on the GPU temperature either which is utterly bizarre. It could be something to do with the original 290 blower fan being a smaller fan with a much higher minimum RPM, different voltage/amperage etc. etc. I don't know the exact reason but it doesn't work for me so I've thrown these into the messy random cable box! In conclusion: I've had poor luck with these mini-PWM adapters on my particular card, but others are having great success. Seems to be mostly Nvidia reviewers with good news.

Good connectors
Though a tad expensive for what they are, they work and work really well, I do think they could do with having a tighter fit on the fan end of the connector, but they will suffice. Just need to make a permanent mounting solution so the ol' GPU is not relying on Cable ties to hold the fans on!

Works RX550 but remember to tune fan speed
Used on MSI RX550 low profile and noctua fan to build a mini PC and replace stock fans (shroud too big for my horribly chosen case). If you get a PWM fan best to tweak its profile yourself (AMD control panel works for me, remember to save your profile!) I run my fans at a base speed of 75% going to 95% @ 55° C and limited power draw on card to get results I wanted. I also set -20% power actually gets performance more consistent with minimal impact, I would always consider limiting power draw on a graphics card if it is redlining after 15-30min of playing/ moderate benchmarks though. My GPU stock fan settings might just be a bit too feeble. Otherwise a good non PWM fan might be best to set it and forget it

Perfect for Alternate Air Cooling Solutions
I had to remove the fan shroud from my 1080 Ti as it wouldn't fit in my case otherwise (yay for small form factor). Stuck one of these into the fan header and the replacement cooling fans now respond perfectly to the GPU fan control software. I found that the cable was quite stiff but even with minimal clearance between the heatsink and fan header, it managed to route through okay. Not sure how it would cope if it was more than just bending in one direction. Of note it that the PWM connector is a bit loose and it is quite easy for fan cable to fall out of the adaptor if you put too much stress on it. Easily sorted by better cable management and I've had no issues since installing.

Great for converting a Xbox one s to use a pic fan
I got this to use with my Xbox one s that had a failing factory fan(it wouldn’t speed up when the system needed it to resulting in sudden shutdowns which hid a power supply issue) After I got this and a quality pc fan the overheat issue went away and the system works great with this and a aftermarket fan. Best part is it’s plug and play. Now with the fan I’ve got in it it’s dead silent all thanks to this adapter.

Does what's advertised
I bought this to use with a gpu closed loop adapter so I could still have the card control the new 4 pin fan. Perfect for that
