Laid-back, detailed, undistorted sound
I'm a big fan of Sennheiser headphones generally, and I've been particularly impressed by their PX 100s, which I've had for several years. I decided to try a pair of their earbud phones for listening to my SanDisk Clip Jam. My first impression was how laid-back the sound is. It's not bass-heavy, but there's plenty of well-controlled bass there. On the high end, they seem particularly good at minimising cymbal splash, that annoying 'tzzzzz' you get to some degree with most earphones. The sound is also very detailed, clear, & undistorted. One thing I don't like, however, is the difficulty in distinguishing the right & left buds- there are tiny 'R' & 'L' indications on the cable strain relief sleeves coming out of the buds, and the left one also has 3 tactile bumps. They really could be more clearly marked, although I'm getting used to distinguishing the left bud by feel. Recently, I have painted a small ring on each strain relief sleeve with enamel paint- red for right, white for left. This has made life much easier! Why couldn't Sennheiser have done something like this? Aesthetically, they look nice, with a silver metal band around the front of the earphones, and silver 'Sennheiser' logo on the back of the buds. I found them to be very comfortable, and they come with a choice of 4 bud sizes, so they should fit any size of ear canal. The plug looks solid enough; some reviewers have commented on the durability of the cable & its connections, but as I've just started using them, I can't comment on this. So, overall, I'm impressed with these earphones- the sound doesn't 'jump out' at you when you first pop them in, but rather gradually creates an impression of solid, understated confidence. I imagine as they get run-in with use, the sound will change, most likely for the better.

My previous Sennheiser headphones (that expired after many year's of use) were excellent. I didn't know what model they were so just bought these as they were a similar price. When I first used them I found the volume was very low and there was very little bass. However, when I changed the size of the ear bud to a larger one the sound improved greatly. Very happy now.

Great quality, but let down by the small things...
The drivers of these earphones are of the usual high Sennheiser quality The mids and highs from these earphones are pretty good, but the lows are lacking slightly, but the main thing which got me was how comfy these sit in my ears. Compared to my last pair of Sennheiser earphones, these sit further in, and the material used is a lot thicker, meaning they stay in my ears, even after an extended period of time. The cable that runs down to the 3.5mm jack is thinner, and the 3.5mm jack itself is a lot smaller than my previous pair, meaning there's less chance of me accidentally pulling it out. The box that it came with included two different sized ear tips, but sadly didn't include any sort of case unlike my previous pair. Overall, these earphones are great value for money, sit comfortably and are generally unnoticable. The sound quality is decent, with the only lacking part being the lows, but for £30 you can't go wrong with these.

Small, Comfy, but Flawed
Now as mentioned by other reviewers these earphones look and sound great but suffer from some serious durability weaknesses. At their price point you can't really go wrong and have the peace of mind purchasing from a well known producer such as Sennheiser. Or so I thought. In the box you get: -Earphones -4× sets of earbuds (varying size) -Warranty (VERY IMPORTANT) -Other device literature I purchased these from a local retailer as they were at the price point where I wouldn't go nuts if I lost them (which I usually do) or broke them (I'm a mess when it comes to taking care of earphones hence why I needed a new pair) They provide some quality punchy sound although a bit on the low side compared to other cheaper earphones; EG- the standard Samsung included earphones when buying a phone. However it makes up for this with clarity and doesn't muddy at higher levels. The cable is NOT flat so they tangle like a motherf****r (I spent about 15 mins one day untangling so excuse my profane outburst). Not great for throwing in and out of pockets carelessly. The connector is a standard 3.5mm connector with an L shaped bend not straight like an Apple earphone one. Eartips are comfy and the actual buds are a cooling metal and on the back standard hard plastic which are actually a pleasure to use. No complaints on in ear usage. ISSUES: where this device face plants to the ground is in its durability. After 5 months use they gave up on me. The left earbud stopped producing sound out of nowhere one day! I was clearly annoyed by this as I expect as a rule of thumb about 1 year use per €20 spent on earphones. Contacted Sennheiser, sent them off and had a new pair within just over a week. So they are very helpful in this regard and you won't be left with broken earphones if they do give up on you. Overall: enjoyable quality earphones with a major flaw which seems to affect a lot of users so be wary and careful with the handling of these buds. However you can thankfully rest assured Sennheiser will look after you if issues do arise in a prompt and courteous fashion once notified of your problems(if any)!

Great, conformable for the ears, good sound quality, can break within 2 years. Used on laptop.
I got this one under guarantee because the previous one broke before 2 years, otherwise this is great and comfortable for my ears and really good. Good quality of sound to my ears too. I use it on a laptop.

Great sound and different sizes to make even more comfortable in ear. If you like bass then these are great and volume is really good as well. I recomend them.

V poor headphones
These were thrown away after only 3 months, they wouldnt stay in my ears even with the biggest sized buds the rubber material on the wires split in multiple places and the wires ended up like i had used a corkscrew on them as they were that twisted. I couldnt comment on the sound quality as the damn things never ever stayed in my ears long enough and the rubber material also keeps sticking to your skin when you are sweaty and its painfull to pull off if you have any body hair as that seems to stick to it then.

Really Great In Ear Headphones. Good for small ears
Really good quality ear phones. Different sizes buds for the ends which is great as normally i get a headache/earache due to the buds being to large for my ears. Would definitely recommend.
