Price increase? I’ve been buying this for years , brought last one in November for £24 then come December it goes up to £38? Why?

If anybody's interested I just bought a 2kg bag for 2.49 in poundstretcher so would work out at almost 15.00 for 12kg which seems a lot cheaper than anyone else seems to be paying
