Nicely packaged
Purchased as a gift, so ideal as all in a hessian bag which looks great. Absolutely no idea as to quality of the product as it has not been used yet, but it looks well made and as if it will do the job!

Lots of fun and scuffed fingers trying to go ‘old school’ fire lighting. Maybe a wee ‘eejit’ sheet (for me as I’m an eejit) might help but still great regardless

Well sourced product. Tricky to use. You lose more flint than you would think.

cheap metal shiny and grity not pure steel
made from monkey metal handle snapped off when dropped all shiny gritty looking metal instead carbon steel , poor sparks

Poor Quality - can do better for less money.
First impression is that this is poor quality steel - I tried this with the flint provided and with other flints that I already have and I can hardly get any sparks from it. Other strikers work fine, so it has to be the steel.

Sarebbe perfetto se la pietra fosse davvero selce, l’anello d’acciaio fa il suo lavoro ma bisogna procurarsi della selce (vera) o del quarzo di propria mano. La pietra in dotazione si “sgretola” è più di tutto non accende.

These are quality products!
It was throwing sparks on the first attempt. These are high quality products that I would definitely recommend. I believe steel is very well made and I was surprised with the generous size of the flint. Even the jute tinder bag is very well made.

Got fire first day
Super cool item for you outdoor enthusiasts. Nice construction on the steel and came with a big hunk of flint. Took some practice and watching a YouTube video but I got fire pretty quickly using my homemade char cloth
