TENSOL 12 Acrylic Adhesive, 50ml Bottle/Perspex Bonding Glue Cement

These are first impressions after first use: 1) this glue has syrup consistency 2) there's a ton of nasty solvents in it so use it outdoors 3) if you have to use it indoors open all doors and windows and ideally wear a respirator 4) depending on ambient temperature solvent evaporation time will differ 5) glue dries clear I've used it to repair storage compartment handle in my car. Handle has a stud at either end so it is hinged to allow to open the compartment and keep it closed. One end cracked and hung on a thin piece or remaining plastic. I've applied the glue to the crack area then clamped it with carpenter's clamp just enough to hold it in it's original shape and left it for 24hrs in the shed for solvents to evaporate. After checking that it doesn't stink anymore I've installed it back in the car and now about seven days later it works as if it never been damaged. Don't know how well it works on different types of plastic or acrylic, When I'll have to glue something different tha ABS i'll update this review.

No issues with bonding acrylic pieces. Easy to use. Just remember to keep in fridge before and after use and know what you’re doing with it as it thickens quickly at room temperature.

Was expecting a metal bottle but it was plastic witch is a bit disconcerting as it's supposed to be a plastic glue that melts part's together but it does work joining my 3d printed parts together

Came in a plastic bottle instead of the metal one shown. Otherwise, works as expected.

A solvent based cement. 'Perspex' or acrylic sheet is dissolved and the bond is achieved by the resulting solution hardening. Referred to as 'cement rather than glue. The result is a strong bond. A broken motorcycle screen was successfully mended. Solvent applied to both edges, plastic softens, pieces held in contact for about 5 minutes, 24hours to cure. Note the safety advice to use in well ventilated space. Definitely workshop rather than kitchen. Very effective on hard or acrylic plastic. Promptly delivered but no instructions so follow procedure as above.
