Exceptional value and quality from Z Series.
I'm not into filter snobbery; (I'm better because I have all the named kit), I find Lee filters are over-rated and over-priced. These Cokin filters are exceptional value and have given me very good results. I purchased these filters with a Sioti 100mm Z filter holder of similar quality to Lee; which I would recommend.Having expensive equipment a competent photographer does not make. The persons ability behind the lens is what makes a good photograph. These filters may be cheaper than Lee, but the quality of images are not, in my opinion, of any lesser quality. Treat them with kid gloves and they remain scratch free - hopefully. Each filters comes in its own cover which gives it extra protection. My only criticism, the resin smudges easily, but I always have a lint free cloth handy, so not too much of a problem. You pays your money and makes your choice. I am pleased I paid less than Lee Filters.

Great starter kit!
These are the first square filters that I have purchased. It seems like a lot of money for three simple squares of plastic resin that probably cost less than a fiver to produce, but still cheaper than alternatives. As far as I can tell there is no colour cast from these filters, which is a real bonus, and, so far, they have helped me to take some lovely long exposure photos when stacked in a filter holder. For a started kit they come out as pretty much ideal. I would advise anyone to get a filter pouch so that the filters don't always need to be put back into the little pockets, which prove fiddly when time may be essential. Also, get some good microfibre cloths for cleaning these filters and take them with you into the field - they are quite hard to keep clean and seem to attract dust and absolutely love fingerprints! ;)It is hard to tell at the moment if these filters lower or degrade the quality of photos - I would say that they don't from the limited number of photos I have taken. I've zoomed in on a few images and they seem very sharp even when all 3 filters have been mounted.I've given a 4 out of 5 because I just can not help feeling that the price is a long way off where it should be for 3 squares of resin, but rank this product highly for the lack of colour cast and no noticeable reduction in photo quality. I recommend the Cokin Z-Pro ND Filter Kit for the flexibility they offer you to take long exposure photos from dawn-till-dusk.

As good as some of the top brands.
I often wonder why cokin don't produce some glass stuff simply because these are top notch no cast at all. I use both Lee and formatt high-tech which cost a fortune and both have a cast Lees is easily removed in post formatt to be honest I've lost good images due to the cast. These are surprisingly good would I buy again yes .

Good for Lee Holder Set
I use a Lee holder, Polariser, Big and Little Stopper and ND grads. I wanted a 1, 2 and 3 stop ND. I purchased the Lee ND filters and they were surprisingly poor; just flimsy film on a flimsy holder. I returned them for a refund and purchased these instead (I also considered the Zomei). These are not glass, as the Cokin website would suggest, but resin. However, they seem very good quality. I am expecting good results from them as Cokin are usually very good quality. They fit perfectly in my Lee holder set and don't slip out as some reviews on the web would suggest. I haven't used them yet so can't comment on image degradation or colour cast yet nbut I'll update this review when I have played with them.

Cokin U30001 Z-PRO Full ND Filter Kit
Lets be clear, Lee, in my opinion make the worlds best filters. It's a simple fact and once accepted, you'll sleep better at night! A close second in my opinion are the Cokin filters.OK, there will be a tonne of people that will disagree and I can accept that. There are some truly fantastic filters out there and they are better optically than the Cokin's. However, Cokin produce filters for the aggressive amateur and they are not designed (imo) to be used by a professional that relies on colour corrected, optically flawless grads or ND's,In my opinion, the Cokin filters offer good value for money, if treated with a little care they offer a good ROI. Go out and buy some and see for yourself...

Good product as usual from Cokin
These filters fit nicely into my Lee filter holder. Not detected and colourcast so far. I have mainly used the darker filters up to now and been very pleased with the results when trying to take long exposure shots. I think they are very good value for money and for the amount of times I need them they are an excellent buy. Would recommend.

Affordable quality filters
If you are looking for affordable filters that give good results then the cokin filters will do you.If like me you are a hobbyist photographer and don't plan on selling or publishing anything you do then these do the job , obviously you will get better results if you buy more expensive ones but leave those to the professionals .

Great Bang for Quid!..
These ND filters present one of the best quality/price balances. They are light and convenient and they keep image quality perfect. There seems to be a slight magenta tint but nothing that can't be easily fixed in post... And it's minor. Almost imperceptible.
