Very good quality, makes cleaning gravel way easier. But I don’t recommend for tanks less than 30 litres as it will be hard to use in a small tank.

Once it gets going it's a very quick way to remove debris from the gravel and change the water. Good quality and has so far lasted me very long. It is fairly short tubing so may struggle with any aquariums higher up from the ground but definitely perfect for lower aquariums. Only dropped a star since this doesn't include a pump and the shake up and down method never works for me so I have to suck one end to get the water started, so you may need to be prepared to get some of the aquarium water in your mouth if you are wanting to use this product.

This is for the mini version, which I bought to get to little nooks and crannies in my very heavily planted 87 litre tank. It’s useless - straight on the first try if you use it to dig around the gravel it sucks it straight up to the gravel guard and clogs the flow. I have medium sized gravel mixed with coarse sand. It seems the problem is that with the mini version is that the narrowness of the tubing causes the siphoning effect to be too strong, thus sucking up gravel due to the water pressure. The fact that there is no wider opening at the bottom adds to this problem. If you have sand, forget about it - the suction is too strong and it will it straight up and into your bucket. Stopped using it after two minutes and returned it.

It’s good but we have quite a small fish tank (15 litres) and even though it says it’s for mini tanks, it was still a bit too big. So I cut some of the tube down. It takes some getting used to and I’d recommend you watch a how to video on utube and practice with water that hasn’t got any fish in so you get the technique right. But once you do it’s really effective.

This makes cleaning gravel so easy and also takes water out of the tank at the same time. Saves so much time and effort. Highly recommend. I see some reviews from people struggling to use this. Search for a video titled: How To Properly Gravel Vacuum a Fish Tank (Detailed Version). A very education explanation that will make using this product so easy.

Does the job well. A little tricky to get going sometimes, especially perhaps in a smaller tank. Occasionally sucks up gravel and gets clogged. Suction power is pretty good!

Does the job but slightly pricey

Got this to clean my 10 and 5 gallon aquariums. I was a little worried it may be a bit too small for what I needed, but it was just perfect size for 10 and 5 gallon. I think if I went with a bigger model, the water would siphon too fast and I’d be unable to properly get areas I wanted in the tank. Easily disassembles to clean out and clear any debris sucked up that gets caught in the grate that blocks the hose itself! If you’re looking for something to help you clean your tanks, look no further !

Does not start with a shake as specified. Not great when it does get going, hose kinks.

The quick start priming doesn’t work. I found the product quite useless and had to buy something else.
