Awesome product
It works very well. Use it with extreme care. Cooks food well. It takes a little longer compared to conventional method, but the end result is good. It's worth all the time spent waiting for your dish to cook.

Excellent product
The food cooked in this is much more flavourful & tasty as compared to conventional cooking. Every single dish is incredibly tasty. One drawback is that it's not possible to evaporate excess water/liquid. For example, if one is making Carrot halwa, you cannot evaporate the excess milk from it.On the other hand, if we put in less liquid, the food will start sticking to the pan. So we have to add the right amount of liquid for each recipe. Also care needs to be taken not to add cold water/food/liquids when the pan is hot. This might cause the ceramic bowl to crack. So I prefer to heat water etc in a kettle if I have to pour extra water midway during cooking. Ideally people with experience with different types of cooking modes such as microwave cooking, baking etc are better equipped to cook with this product. Also the ceramic pot is really heavy and gets very slippery when it comes in contact with water, soap etc. So one has to be extra cautious while cleaning it as well. However, if you want flavourful food that retains it's nutrition, this is an excellent product.

Too hot
The slow cooker seems well built. The bowl is sturdy, and the heating unit well built. The problem is how the cooker works. There are three temperature settings: HIGH, LOW, and WARM. However there doesn't seem to be any temperature control. Instead the cooker just reduces the heating power. I assume the Haden guys did some tests to find out how much power is required to slowly warm the food to 80 to 90 degrees, and then have the temperature stabilize at that point. And they probably did these test in some cold country like China. But at high ambient temperatures in India the food actually starts boiling after a few hours, even at the LOW setting. Which defies the entire idea of a slow cooker: to cook food unattended while at work. If the food starts boiling it's hardly safe to keep unattended. Instead, it becomes hours of watching it. Very tedious...

Great purchase,Love it
It’s a great slow cooker for the price..Perfect for cooking a good 1.5 to 2 kgs of meat..Great for small family. The ceramic pot is sturdy and good quality..The only problem I have with it is the lid which is a little smaller or made that way which is kinda lose and steam escapes while cooking..Added a small video you’ll understand what I mean about the lid..Apart from that I love the slow cooker..
