It's great having bought a shed and not realising the handles are much further apart than my old one was and my padlocks wouldn't fit I was struggling to find how to securely lock it then I came across this its perfect it's long enough to go through both ends and I love how you can adjust the length just by pushing the lock to whare you want it my shed is finally secure and I'm happy I did also buy the same sort of lock but a combination lock one but this one is much better mire secure and not fiddling about with a code,definitely recommend this lock,good quality and secure

Thanks to another poster, I also got this for a keter storage box as other standard ones, with longer handles, weren’t working. The build and quality are great; the lock and key are easy to open; and it’s not overly big either. Time will tell on rust etc but I like its performance so far. Perfect.

Good deterrent for opportunistic thieves without lockpicking knowledge. The shackle is a good length and the adjustability of the length works well however, for my needs I would have preferred an option with a wider shackle.

Problem? Needed to lock 2x kitchen cupboard doors that were fortunately side by side with handles. Solution? This lock. It does what I needed and the lock worked much better/was smoother after some light lubrication. In a pinch, wet some kitchen towel with cooking oil and wipe over the hasp (curved silver metal thing) at the ratchet points (the teeth bit) and then do the same with the 2x supplied keys. After doing that (using WD40*) I found the key easier to insert and locking it was easier too.Wouldn't recommend for outside though (just in case anyone was wondering*but yeah, you can use cooking for this specific type of thing if skint
