They roll if they are even all the way around, but they stretch, so I have them higher on the inside of my thighs where they are needed, and they are lower on the back, because I have found they roll when they are higher in the back. If they roll all around no matter where you position them, then I'd say yes, size up. **Q: Where do you measure your thigh? The thickest part?** A: Look at the photo of the model to see where the bandalettes are placed.
