The deck was bought to sit on an extended concrete base (from 8x6ft to 10x8ft) to raise the bearers out of any puddles that will gather on concrete! As wood will draw water up from the base, a shed sitting on concrete usually rots from the bottom up. The deck is easy to trim around high spots (from the previous base edges) with a jig or disc saw - as can be seen in the image, and it’s still strong enough not to collapse where the cuts are near to an edge. The off-cuts were used to bolster the right side of the shed to the edge of the extended concrete. The front edge bears no weight, so rather than trim it back, a sand filling makes a pretty feature.Great quality, easy to assemble, flexible and strong. Highly recommended.

Really easy to install and has provided a solid foundation for my shed. Put in a hardcore, ballast, shingle and sand bed first so the prep took time but decided last minute to go with this instead of a concrete slab and it's worked out really well.

Brilliant product. Easy to assemble. Does need stones to fill to complete the base so consider this in the cost.Weed membrane was not big enough for the grid ordered which is the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5.

It states on the spec that this suits a 10x8 shed. Which is strictly untrue in my case as I was two ecobase panels missing. I used two panels from the Middle to make it fit 10x8. So beware, therefore only three stars.

Great shed base, which works perfectly. We leveled and compacted the ground beneath, then put a 2" layer of pea gravel on top before laying the membrane and the grids. We had no issues at all laying it and were really happy with the result. In fact it went down so quickly, that we put the shed up the same day and completed it quicker than we thought we would. It doesn't quite fit the shed, but it's near enough. A 1cm overhang really isn't worth worrying about. No instructions, but we didn't need them anyway.

Packages a lot larger than I expected and heavy. So be prepared. It was so easy to put together. Didn't even need the instructions.Seriously thinking about redoing my drive with it. A really good solid base. I used the weed suppressor 1st and overlaid with pea gravel the put the grid down and infilled with pea gravel.
