Great quality pocket knife
The same Buck Knife quality I have experienced for many years. Bought 5 single blade pocket knives for my son and son-in-laws.Sharp blade, smooth easy opening, attractive outside guard. Just right for an unobtrusive pocket knife.Gifting quality.

Excellent first knife, made an 8-year-old girl very happy!
My daughter (8) wanted a pocketknife for Christmas. I wanted to get her a Buck because of their legendary quality and sharpness, but was really torn because I knew this particular Buck is made in China and I wanted her first knife to be made in the good old U.S.A.But the canoe model seemed like the perfect size and fit for her hand, and, well, I figured the memories we'd make with her first knife would mean more to her growing up than the country of origin stamped on the blade. So I went with this one after all, and I'm so glad I did.First of all, she absolutely loves it. So there's a win right off the bat. :)But objectively speaking, this thing is a Buck knife, plain and simple. The design, the finish, and the quality are impeccable. The blades open easily, close positively, and are just as scary-sharp as my higher-priced, American-made Bucks. The handle is larger than most of Buck's wooden folders. It gives a nice chunky grip, and the blades are broader as well, which I really like. The shapes of the blades are also more suited to the sorts of things kids do with a knife, as well as the entry-level bushcraft kinds of things we do together. My daughter was thrilled with the real wooden handles with the brass bolsters. It's got a very classic look to it and just plain works. All in all, this is a beautiful knife, perfect for a child's first knife or even an adult who just wants something a bit beefier than the more slender pocket knives that tend to dominate this space (namely, non-locking folders with wooden handles). I'm really glad we got it for her.

It's a good knife
It's a good quality knife that Buck has been known for.Comes very sharp but gets super sharp with little work, and holds an edge. It's my favorite pocket knife, and I lost or broke a bunch over the years. Has the weight of an expensive knife with good stiff blades. Feels right in my pocket. I'm lost without it.If you're looking for the perfect pocket knife, this is the one.

Buck makes a great pocket knife
This knife is very well made and comes sharp enough to shave with. Excellent quality. And did I mention how sharp it is?

Small enough for dress pants.
Bought these for laser engraving for Christmas presents. They made nice personalized gifts for family members. The burled wood was attractive and they are lightweight for pocket knives without bulk. Can be carried in nice pants.

Superb build quality
No dislikes whatsoever. I hear a lot about Buck knives made in the US VS Buck knives made in China. I’m not sure where this one was made and I don’t care. The quality of this knife is top shelf. Perfect small size for the pocket but no too small to work with. I am very pleased with this purchase and was very happy with the price. Way to go Buck. Well done indeed.
