Dakine Spike Stomp Pad

Really good stomp pad, large footprint and big spikes for your boot to get good grip even when your board is covered in snow. I didn’t have a heat gun when I installed it so I just stood on it for a few minutes and it’s holding strong.

I've used these stompads before on prior snowboard so I decided to get a new one for my new replacement board. Quality is just as good as the one I've had for years. Follow the directions and they stick extremely well. My only complaint was with the shipper and how it was packaged. It came in a loose in a bag and the stomp hat was no longer flat. It was badly curved and I didn't think that I was going to be able to flatten it out. I let it settle overnight in the next day took a heat gun on a low setting and slowly warm to stop pad up then let it cool on a flat table with a book on top of it for a little bit of weight. I cut the stop pad and five strips follow the manufacturer's directions on how to apply to the snowboard and it works great. My foot is very secure while out of the bindings getting off the lift

Just bought one for my buddy because he got a new snowboard for Christmas. I’ve been using mine for two years now and have absolutely no issues with my stomp pad and my boots always grip on this pad.

Best stomp pad in my opinion, especially clear so it doesn't obstruct your board top sheet. You can also trim it to make it as small or big as you want, easy to install, durable, etc. Price has gone up for it gradually is the only downside.

I almost didn't purchase this item because of all the reviews saying this doesn't stick well; I'm glad I took a chance. Product arrived on time. Followed the directions and this thing stuck like cement! I decided to cut mine into strips so I had a larger foot print area and it still worked great. I've been out 4 times abusing my board, some of the days being cold in the single digits, and this pad is solid! Also, the larger spikes gives excellent grip even if there's some snow build-up on the board. How I installed: -made sure my board and pad were room temp by leaving inside overnight. -cleaned the board surface with rubbing alcohol and let dry. * *Pro Tip: if the top of your deck is high gloss, before the alcohol, try using a scotch pad or light abrasive to carefully and gently scuff the surface only where your pad will contact* * -used a blow drier on hot setting and warmed the board surface and sticky side of the pad for 2-3 min. -peeled the clear plastic from bottom of pad to expose the adhesive and stuck it onto the board. -I set a couple soft cover books on top of the pad and a 25 pound weight on top of that and let it sit for a day. When all was said and done I tried to see if it would peel off but it wasn't going anywhere. Hope this helps, enjoy!

New snowboard means new stomp pad. My son didn’t want anything too large or fancy, but this fit the bill for functionality. It does a great job of holding his free foot in place and held up well over the past two months. The real test will be seeing how well it holds up year to year, but for now he is happy with his selection and I was happy with the price point.

Best stomp pad, cut the pad into 5 sections and spread them out some to cover the full width of your boot or board.

Great product- we had to reapply after adjusting the position of the bindings on a new board and it still worked perfectly. Highly satisfied!

The peel-off backing on this stomp pad is a thin transparent plastic sheet. If you are not careful, or if the adhesive has bonded with the backing (for example the shop had it in storage somewhere warm maybe), the adhesive will come off the pad with the backing, basically rendering the pad useless (unless you use your own glue…) Basically, follow the instructions and warm everything up, but be aware that there is a very very thin plastic (why, Dakine?) backing. If what you are peeling is thick, stop; you are peeling off the adhesive.

Works as intended. Have been able to use a heat gun to remove and reuse 3 times and no issues with falling off while boarding.

Très déçu du produit, celui-ci n'est pas prévu pour être séparer en plusieurs parties pour être placé sur la planche. Si c'est le cas. C'est très mal conçu...les séparations sont tellement épaisse que la découpe est ne peut pas ce faire proprement...dans mon cas le ruban adhésif s'est carrément détaché puis devenu inutilisable....bref un cauchemar... Si vous voulez l'utiliser en séparé fuyez ce produit...
