A work in progress. Be warned.
A work in progress. In the end I bought into Sonos. It is now sitting in a drawer waiting on a better app system. The current app is really bad and setup is worse. Once you set it up I recommend you go to 3rd party apps like BubbleUPNP and Airfoil. Also it will play via iTunes on mac. The item also has a silicon cover which I took off straight away. The cover is a dust magnet!

Needs work
I thought it would be easy to setup, however though not hard it is trickier than anticipated. The app is surprisingly only for android(at the moment) and is pretty much useless. It will guide you through the setup process, except it will never find Rocki. So setup has to be done yourself. Its really not difficult to get everything working, but iOS devices often can't see Rocki and so display no airplay icon and Rocki's app is appalling as a music player,in fact it's an absolute mess.Trying to keep iOS and Android seeing Rocki is hit and miss and is frustrating. After over a week I seriously wondered if the battle to get things to just see Rocki immediately and play without any problems in a pleasurable relaxing way was worth it,or should it go back. However finally I downloaded Toaster Cast and it in turn suggested a music player to add.I downloaded n7player and now everything is working brilliantly and never misses a beat. Its a nicely styled music player and has a lot of very good features and better still only it needs to be opened for Rocki to work,no faffing opening DNLA apps, just the player and Toaster Cast has a little icon intergrated into the player.Tap the icon and the music immediately plays through Rocki. So now I am very pleased, however Rocki is not ready for selling if it's makers can't make software that works.Thankfully other people can make apps that do work,so alls well that ends well.As for the hardware itself it's very well made as are the accessories, and once you get the software sorted Rocki is gem.

It was easy to set up and worked well with Spotify
At first I was very please with my ROCKI. It was easy to set up and worked well with Spotify, however after a few months of use it refused to connect to my wifi router. The router has not changed and seems to work fine with my iPhone/iPad/PC. The best option but be to reset back to WiFi hot spot mode and start agin, but searching the website gives no information on how to do a hardware reset. This can only be done via the web app when it is connected. This seems like a fundamental design flaw. I contacted ROCKI support but have had no reply. Either they don't know what to say or it is a design fault. I am about to return it for warranty repair.UPDATE contacted the seller. All they did was ask about my order date. TOTAL NOT IMPRESSES WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICES FROM ROCKI, under the sales and good act I have a right to return the item within six months should prove to be faulty, but they are just not delivering the basic statutory minimum customer services. If it was more money I would consider a claim in the small claims court. So I am now tryingDigiFunk® - WiFi Wireless Audio Music AirPlay Receiver 3 - Mutliroom Compatible - Touch Buttons - Spotify Connect Player, Pandora, TuneIn Supported OSo much easier to configure because it has the option of a wired connection to update the configuration should you run into problems. It also has some very nice feature like a physical play/pause, skip track and replay track button that seem to work even when the phone or computer hosting Spotify it turned off.My recommendation is get the DigiFunk® - WiFi Wireless Audio Music AirPlay at least you wont have to configure using the stupid hotspot mode.

Great sound quality and great value compared to other solutions
I spent a while researching wireless solutions for connection to my speakers at home. I have used a raspberry pi with shairport for a while but the reliability and sound quality was poor. My criteria was that i wanted a general streaming solution that would allow me to airplay my content but also have the potential for other usage scenarios. At the time of writing, the Rocki offers airplay, spotify connect and a sort of wifi direct mode where it acts as an access point. Airplay works well, spotify connect works fine but i have found that when you disconnect spotify, the Rocki needs to be rebooted before it can be used by a different method of connection.sound quality is excellent, volume less so, i need to turn my active speakers up to top volume and i would like a little bit more headroom. Rocki are allegedly working on a new firmware to fix this issue, its not a big issue as my speakers don't go that loud but needs bearing in mind. All in all its great, cheaper than less feature rich alternatives, constantly being updated and critically sounds great

computer etc is crap. Don't work at all
How to start? The application will need to install in your phone, computer etc is crap. Don't work at all! I figure it out how to use it with Spotify and it was doing quite a good job but sometimes it just looses the wifi connection. then I need to turn it off and on again, wait a while, and then start to listening my music again. I stopped using it now because to use with Spotify it's necessary to be Premium. For short: If you don't have Spotify DO NOT buy it. If you do. It is a okay product.

Rocki looks good value for what it is
Objective: Needed a WiFi streamer for old Yamaha 5.1 receiver and NAS full of musicOptions: Expand existing Sonos with Sonos connect or RockiOpinion: Rocki looks good value for what it is, set-up is confusing as they have changed look and feel of the Rocki App compared to their YouTube installation instructions, once you put WiFi password on Rocki App you are ready to go. Connected Rocki to power and receiver, Had already purchased bubble player on android play store. On Bubble player select music from NAS and select Rocki as renderer and it works perfect.BTW, Yellow is more green then yellow and there is small delay before music starts playing, compared to Sonos.
