My ITX-mini case came with a pair of 60 x 20 mm fans. However, I had to replace them with these slimmer (60 x 10 mm) fans in order to accommodate an upgraded power supply. The accommodation was achieved and I am happy with the efficiency of the fans. They are somewhat audible, the new build being on my office desktop next to the monitor. If the fans were quieter it would have been nice, but all in all I am happy with them. The ball bearings and rigid fan frames and blades emit very little or no mechanical noise, there is just the low rustle of air passing through the perforated vents on the case. It doesn't bother me, it's a kind of signature sound that I use to know the machine is working, and more importantly - cooling! The fans came with Molex 4 pin connectors so that they could be plugged together and then to a spare power supply connector. But I found that arrangement too bulky, space being such a priority in the ITX-mini case. So I soldered the wires neatly in a Y configuration and plugged it into the case fan header on the motherboard. If you don't think you could make a neat solder connection, by all means go ahead and use the connectors if you have to use a couple of fans together.

This fan works perfectly, I have it mounted to a 3 slot bracket below my GPU to help maintain airflow and it does an amazing job at it. It's also very quiet. I am on my second one, a cable snagged when I moved my case breaking off two of the fins, the fan was unaffected in performance and just made a buzzing at mid RPM so I've ordered a replacement. 10/10 perfect for its size.

Nice little fans. Certainly not "silent" but when one has a choice of this fan or NOTHING, this fan wins out. :) As with the 60x10mm fans, this is actually an Evercool fan with a StarTech sticker on the front. Part# EC6020H12BA (says "two ball bearing" on the sticker) Note: I purchased four of these at once and none of them came with screws, so be advised. It does come with a 3pin/4pin adapter if you need to hook it directly to a power supply. Have these installed in mini-itx systems blowing air across the CPU/Fan and the hard disk. Does a great job in keeping them cool. System is a bit on the noisy side, but a small price to pay for a happier hard disk.

I ordered five 60x10mm to replace the cheap dead fans in my old Zyxel NSA320 storage devices. My WD Red drives were running extremely hot for a very long time before i noticed the problem. I cant believe drives survived the stress. The first fan i installed was DOA. I hope amazon has not been passing this fan back and forth. If so, it stops here. I will not return it, but will request refund and hope for the best. Amazon gave me refund for the one defective fan. Thanks Amazon. The other fans worked. They read 2800 RPM per Zyxel status view. CPU temp averages 115F. The other 4 fans are still working fine after 5 days. good enough for me. I am ordering a couple more fans for my other devices. Fan is labeled as EVERCOOL EC6010M12BA. All I can is, if you own a Zyxel NSA320 , check your fan status and replace. To open box, just remove top two screws on back.

I recently had a storm related power outage. After that my Zyxel NSA325 didn't come up right. I rebooted and it came up. I logged on and found the it had a fan fault with "0 RPM" and that it was getting REALLY warm at 148 degF. Um? Seems fair as it was build back in 2012 (but I got it in 2014 and have used it since). I tried to find ANY disassembly instructions in my saved manual and online. Google/YouTube failed me this time. But after I unplugged and looked at it, "I thought it can't be TOO hard," or could it? There were only a few screws: 4 on the bottom and 2 on the front (after removing the drive access door and bezel) and 4 holding the fan guard and fan to the case. Removing all of this, everything came apart quite easily. The fan had a 3 pin connector, which I unplugged. So I googled "3 pin PC fan" and found a lot of hits. I was curious about the 3rd wire and found that its for a tachometer output (which is how the NAS drive "knew" it was at 0 RPM). I tried the old fan on my power supply set to 12V and it did not spin. I pushed it a few times and almost ever time it tried, but gave up quickly. So, next I got my calipers and found that the square fan was 60 x 60 x 10 mm. I googled that and naturally, Amazon came up. And since I pay for Prime, I checked it out and then ordered this fan. It did come two days later (although other stuff was and still is delayed due to a local ice storm). First I verified the new fan's plug pinout, which was compatible, and then tested it.. it ran fine. Reassembly was a lot easier (except for dropping a screw a couple of times and having to search for them, which took almost as much time). Now my NSA325 is purring along happily at 2400-2600 RPM (not sure why it seems to vary so much, but I bet is the software) and a cozy 104 degF. Much better. I'll need to run full disk diagnostics soon, since the drives are nearly 2 years old (I already replaced the originals). Now, the next problem...

Bought an older pc for some retro gaming and the cpu fan bearing was noisy, so the bearings were on their way out. These are an exact fit and now the system is pretty quiet.

Don't believe the spec, it is mendaciously incorrect, this is not 28dB fan, more like 35dB. There are also quality control problems, I purchased two fans, which behave differently reporting very different RPM's (an effective 50% failure rate). The one nearly negligible plus is that they have a speed sensor showing they are running at more than double the spec'd RPM (5000 vs. 2000) explaining the extreme noise. Not recommended especially for nearly double the price of comparable fans.

I purchased two of these in March and one of them stopped working. I was pleased with them until the one stopped working. So, now I am looking for two more and hoping they will last longer. They put out enough air for what I needed them for, and they don't make much noise at all running full speed. 5 starts for the one still working and 1 start for the one that is not, so 3 stars overall. The price is low, so I can't complain too much. Sometimes you get what you pay for.

Took some work to carve this thing from it's cage and drill mounting holes in the fan supports, but it seems to work great with my old ATI Sapphire HD7750 Graphics card to keep it running cool. Previous fan had failed and appeared to only be sourced from China now. This arrived next day and came with a molex 4 pin adapter that allowed me to power it off a spare SATA splitter I had. Runs without speed control this way but although audible it's not distracting and keeps my GPU temps down around 45C instead of 90C+. Buys me time to shop around for a new rig/card combination.

it definitely blows air, a small amount but thats what you expect from a fan like this. haven't tested for that long but i think its a good fan.

I purchased these fans to do an upgrade to my 3D printer electronics. I was very impressed with the fact that they are so quiet. The fans have a 3-pin mini connector, and also come with a standard molex fan connector to use with a computer. Fans have been running almost constantly since I got them, and no issues yet. I would highly recommend this product.
