Salt Air Purifier for Home

I have my machine 10 days, I have been using it for about 10 hours a day... I have noticed a marked difference in my wellbeing... the cough which I suffer and nobody has been able to diagnose in 20 years what it is, hasn’t worsened this year... it is a cough that only has responded in the past to antihistamine, but not always to that... it is genuinely the bane of my whole life... for 9 months of the year, I cough morning noon and night, worse at night, for years, I have had disturbed sleep, slept on the settee to avoid waking the whole house...drank alcohol to get to sleep despite being normally teetotal ...in the day, it brings with it several problematic side affects, and is a nightmare for meetings, talking to clients, theatre, cinema etc...my children always know where to find me out and about they just listen out for the coughing... That was how it was, however since I got the machine, within the first 3 nights there was a difference, the cough was more expectorant and less tickly ... I hardly coughed getting into bed... in the last week I have slept solidly without waking at all , all night, I even slept in till 10am at the weekend, I haven’t done that since a teenager... my husband who is in good health also said he is sleeping sounder... I have not coughed at night for 5 days now, a near miracle if you know what I was like before...this morning I didn’t cough at all (normal morning 1 hour spent coughing, baulking, and spitting till I can get cough under control) ... I know it’s early days, but at the moment expensive enough as it is..I would say if you have any cough or respiratory thing...you must give it a try...

Personally i love this air purifier. It has hugely helped me with my sinus relief. Helps me sleep well and showed results literally after few nights usage.

It is very good. The only problem that I have is that the ceiling in the bedroom has black patches. We live in Spain they do not insulat the houses the same as the U.K. I have have had advise from your technical dept. They recommend a dehumidifier during the day,that we have. That seems to to have helped solve the problem. It may be an advantage to inform other customers . Many thanks

I bought this 10 months ago and the instructions said to 'place it in the corner of the room furthest away from the sleeper' So I did that and absolutely nothing happened. I turned it on every night for about 4 months, then abandoned using it. I decided to try and sell it, but whilst preparing my photos and details, I noticed on a you tube video (search salin plus) that it was placed on the bedside table close to the sleeper. So instead of trying to sell it I bought a refill filter 2 months ago and placed the salin plus on the locker next to my bed. The original reason I bought it was I have bronchiectasis breathing problems and had constant catarrh and blocked nose. Well I am delighted to report that my nose is no longer blocked and instead of using 2 boxes of man size tissues a week for the catarrh, I scarcely use any at all. I shall certainly continue to use it. I just wish there was a way of knowing when to change the filter. It does say to change it every 4 months. A bit expensive but worth it for such great relief.

Good applliance, only replacement filters too expensive!

Got this product to help with breathing difficulties at night. Used it for only 4 nights as it leaked salt water all over my chest of drawers. I had placed the item on top and the salt spill ruined my mobile phone cover - luckily not the phone itself, which was also placed on top of the chest. The white stains when touched with a finger and then tasted had a salty taste. Additionally the liquid spilled down the front of four drawers tarnishing the brass handles, on one side. The stains have not responded to attempts to clean them returning each day.. Possible the worse purchase I have made - despite all the TV ads. and glowing testimonials. I returned the unit.

Have been using this salt filter for 3 weeks now. I have it in my bedroom and switch it on about 1 hour before I go to bed and leave it on all night. I have suspected copd or chronic bronchitis. Was given an inhaler (Salomol) which gave me terrible headaches and dizziness. So stopped using it. This filter makes the air smell so differently, fresh and clean. I have noticed since using this filter that my breathing has become more easy and in the morning the build op of all the bad things in my lungs come out within 10 minutes. I used to need about an hour to get ready for work, now it takes hardly any time. I have 4 whippets and they just love the air in my bedroom and stay all night with me. Must say something about this filter that very sensitive dogs like whippets like to be near it. The sound that the filter makes I find actually soothing, almost like the sound of the sea. Really love this filter and would recommend it to anyone with lung issues.

I bought the machine at 4 months pregnant - one of the first three purchases to have for my newborn. And roll on a few years and it's used nightly - it really shortens nasal congestion after a cold and symptoms of cold/flu. I can attest how invaluable these are, my little one had a bout of acute croup and the Salins machine was the main reason we did not end up needing and A&E visit. Worth every coin this is.

I can’t live without this now . It has improved my health as I turn it on every night when I go to bed.

I have 2 of these in my home already. I ordered one here as a gift for someone, and what I got was junk. It is defective, doesn't turn on and just hums. I am convinced I was sent one that someone else returned as defective. I am furious about it too. It ruins the name and efficacy of this brand, which is amazing. Still have not received a shipping label from this seller, and I'm sure it's because they know they sent out a piece of crap.

The unit had a 220 Volt plug, had to buy an adapter, otherwise, pleased with unit.

Bläst in einer guten Lautstärke nur etwas Luft. Habe null Wirkung verspürt. Werde jetzt ein anderes Gerät mit flüssiger Sole vom toten Meer testen. Da ich Copd habe, gebe ich die Hoffnung nicht auf etwas zu finden, das hilft. Tipp: Bei Asthma und Copd an die Nordsee fahren. Gibts auch ein Video: Campingplatz Wattenlöper in Duhnen bei Cuxhaven, Asthma und Copd YouTube. Es gibt dort auch viele Ferienwohnungen, Hotels ect. Nordsee ist super, es gibt auch viel zu unternehmen und hat den positiven Effekt für die Atemwege. Auf Helgoland kann man auch so richtig durchatmen.
