Great quality non OEM product
Having invested in my camera and lens I was thinking am I being a bit of a brand snob wanting an OEM hood - however the cost difference was quite a bit and I decided to purchase this one with a view to perhaps purchasing the OEM version at a later date. However I'm glad I didn't pay the additional cost as this is a great quality lens hood and it certainly doesn't stand out as a cheap alternative. It fits perfectly on the lens and I like the locking feature which holds it in place. I'm sure if you sat both side by side you would not be able to tell the difference and would be hard pushed to justify the cost difference to have Canon printed on a lens hood.

Hard plastic lens hood
Hard plastic lens hood with a Matt finish. Reduces glare on the lens and can also help a little if it starts to rain (only for a second though - don’t rely on this)! The hood is quite a hard plastic so I don’t know how well it would survive bending dropped - I think that the lens hood breaking might be the least of your worries if uou drop an expensive camera/lens though!

This lens hood fit perfectly to the lens, does not create any vignetting and is much cheaper than any you can get from Canon

Dato che l'obbiettivo (RF 24-105 mm F4-7.1) in dotazione alla mia Canon , non era corredato di paraluce , mi sono deciso di prenderne uno compatibile , questo prodotto di concorrenza è perfettamente compatibile, si aggancia senza giochi , ha il tasto di blocco/sgancio , che lo rende piu' sicuro , si puo' montare in entrambe le direzioni , così da riporre anche la fotocamera nella borsa o zaino senza dover levare il paraluce. decisamente molto soddisfatto anche in funzione del prezzo estremamente conveniente.

Passt auf das Kit-Objektive meiner Canon RP. Besonders gut finde ich den seitlichen Knopf zum arretieren bzw. lösen. Preis/Leistung ist super. Empfehlenswert.
